Is there a decent amount of crema from the Espresso toast?

Yes, if you have a good espresso machine.

I own a cuisinart, 14-cup glass carafe, fully automatic dcc-3200p1. recomended grind setting?

I have a "Krups" Grinder. all Expresso Coffee Beans should be ground to a Very, Very Fine Talc. like powder when making Expresso Coffee. Then, of course, brewed like any other Coffee in what ever type Coffee maker you have. I recomend a slow dripper.

is this expresso or coffee?

These are espresso roasted coffee beans, so they are darker than your normal type of coffee beans. This is what you would get if you were to order an espresso at Starbucks. All espresso beans are actual coffee beans, it refers to the roast.
