does this work with android tablets and OTG cables?

no because it will needs a pc mother board usb 2.0 connecter for it to work if you look at the bottom of your mother board you should find a usb 2.0 connector

Has anyone figured out if the blue LED light can be turned off. It is so bright the airport called and said it was confusing planes as they land.

I love the humor...No the Blue Power LED light only turns off when either the computer is off and/or the power cord is unplugged. One computer I had it would go off when it was turned off. My other computer it only goes off when the power cord is unplugged.

This product is "almost" what i need. i need a 3.5" with usb 3.0, microsd, sd, usb-c, and a headphone jack and microphone jack. is there such a thing?

You might find it easier to just buy a new case with the USB 3.0 and the audio connections. Then add this for the SD cards. This is what I did. If you already have these items on the front panel be mindful you might already have the USB 3.0 MB header taken. IF your system is OEM make dang sure you inspect that MB before you buy anything! It's confusing I know.
