Can you shorten the length of the chain? I need to lift a barrel at least 30 inches off the ground to get it into a drum overpack.

Hi，Actually we don’t recommend Shorten the chain. The length of the chain & the size of the grappling hook.These two aspects are adapted to each other in order to achieve the perfect balance when lifting the barrel. Once you change one of them, the whole system may be a safety risk.
