Fits, affordable, and easy to install
Installed this into my 2002 Chevy Avalanche!! Fit almost perfectly, had to play a little with the stereo brackets/dash kit to get the right fit BUT it made my truck look like an OEM look with a double din. Clips were a fear of mine but was ready to use my original ones BUT they did the job, keeps the dash in place although it may be annoying when taking the dash off since they do not come off with the dash and gets stuck on the trucks dash. No issues getting pliers and removing them.

Great piece
This thing worked out great for fitting a double din head unit in my truck came from the factory with a 1.5 din, the one piece of advice that I can give though is don't use the clips provided (way too weak) use the original ones from GM, just pop them off your original – piece

Good not perfect
I reused my factory clips since I heard the supplied ones don’t work well. It fits pretty good but not perfect. Idk if it was also the cheap double din I bought but the radio cutout didn’t quite line up by a couple mm so I had to file it down a little bit. It has a satin finish that stains but it doesn’t look out of place on my gray dash.

excellent idea, poorly executed and mediocre quality
pros: it worked the finish quality is good on the exterior cons: as other reviewer mentioned, it is about 3-4 mm off on the left side of the double din radio opening. i marked and scored the face and then just filed it off with hand files, and then radio fit, still not perfect but its close enough you don't really notice the plastic piece between the radio and the ac controls is so thin and has no reinforcement, it bows out allowing you to see inside the dash. this takes the visual appeal from 5 stars to 3 in my opinion as it looks a little tacky the way it bows out. the plastic is quite flimsy and low quality. the metal retainer clips need to be pinched with a pair of pliers and then pressed on, otherwise every time you remove this they will get stuck in the dash and its not very fun removing them all from the dash. i used a pair of channel locks to pinch the clips, then i used a 1/2 socket extension upside down to press them on to the plastic mounts after pinching. now they fit really tight onto the plastic and don't pull out when removing the panel.

2002 silverado
Finally got around to installing this for my 2002 silverado. I had high hopes. The bezel needed some modifications to fit around the double din. There was some manufacturing defect. I installed the doubling exactly where it should be mounted but the bezel was slightly off about half inch . I had to shave it down to make the double din fit. One side of the double din had plenty of room but the other side would not fit. Needed to shave off about half inch on the driver side of hole for double din to fit. So now one side has a normal gap and the passenger side has about half inch gap. It is what it is. You know what they say you get what you pay for. I was also missing 1 of the metal retainers and yes they are Hella loose compared to the stock bezel. I will post photos when I get a chance. ********UPDATE ****** 8.7.25 seller reached out and made things right.gotta give them respect for that. Bumping up to 5 stars for customer service.

Worth it
Good for the price. Wish it came with the little screws that go into the radio and the clips could be better. Solid. Will buy again for my other 10 Chevys
