Received the ironing board today, delivery by UPS, it feels that it is stable, but I’m a disappointed as it has holes in a few places and also dirty... I was hoping to get a new and beautiful ironing board, but it feels like it was there in the warehouse for 10 years and noone wanted it, so it became dirty and the developed holes and now it was lucky to be sent to me. Honestly, for that money I feel like a fool.

The ironing board arrived well packed to prevent it from dents. I had decided to go for a more expensive board this time and consider it to be money well spent. It’s solid and sturdy with an iron stand that I’ve never seen or had before. Unlike previous ironing boards I’ve had this stand allows you to rest the iron almost upright instead of flat on the board. Just goes to show how long since I bought a new one. The ironing board also has an ample surface to allow for quick and easy ironing. All in all am pleased with the Brabantia ironing board.

Idk what all the negative reviews are for, but this ironing board is perfect! The last time I bought an ironing board was back in college 20 years ago, and it was just a cheapo one from Walmart, and like most ironing boards, it squeaked and wobbled really badly. This ironing board doesn’t do either of those things. It’s really sturdy. I also love the iron holder. Sure you can spend a ton of money on these things, but I don’t use mine very often so I just wanted something a step up from those horrible ones from the store. I used mine to iron my Belgium flax linen king size sheets, so I’m draping huge swaths of fabric over it and it’s very solid. I got the cream colored one with black stripes and it looks gorgeous hanging on my laundry room door and goes with the decor of my home, unlike the cheap ones that come in tacky, loud patterns.

Zuerst hatten wir uns das neue Vileda gekauft, mit dieser Metalldampfsperre unter dem Belag, doch das kann man völlig vergessen da diese viel zu empfindlich sind und der Bügelbezug schnell kaputt ist, bzw. hat man sofort "Löcher im Bezug"... Dann suchten wir ein traditionelles Bügelbrett und das war gar nicht so einfach, denn anscheinend machen so einen Unsinn mit der Metalldampfsperre immer mehr... Wir sind dann auf dieses Brabantia - Bügelbrett B hier gestoßen, und das ist genau das was wir gesucht haben. Stabiler Bezug der nicht gleich kaputt geht, stabiler Fuss, schnell Höhenverstellbar und stabiler Halter für das Bügeleisen. Hier macht das Bügeln Spass, alles funktioniert tadellos!
