Buy 10 New Refillable Original Clipper Lighters 8 Solid Colors & 2 Element Design by Clipper on desertcart.com ✓ FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders Review: NO MORE WASTEFUL DISPOSABLE LIGHTERS! - I bought these for my TEOTWAWKI stash, and boy oh boy am I glad I did. Bic lighters are very popular, but are not refillable, plus you can't replace the flints (which is pointless since you would run out of butane before the flints expire anyway). In other words, HIGHLY disposable. In contrast, the Clipper lighters: 1. can be easily and inexpensively refilled from bulk butane bottles. 2. come with flints that are also easily and inexpensively replaceable. 3. are very sturdily constructed, so they should last a long, long time. 4. have a unique 5-sided pentagonal shaped flint wheel that is very easy on your thumb during lighting. SUMMARY: Clippers are better built, have replaceable consumables and just a little more $$$ than inferior brands. What's not to love? ---------- UPDATE 9-11-15 --------- SIX STARS? I have ordered these twice now and on both orders of ten lighters I found that all the lighters work spectacularly. Truly a QUALITY PRODUCT. At this point I thought I would share a couple of technical details that I have discovered. 1. When the lighters are empty, they weigh in at 12.6 grams. When they are refilled they weigh 16.2 grams. Therefore it takes approx 3.5 grams of butane to fully fill them. 2. I bought a 300ml can of 5X Power Butane. According to the label there are 165 grams of liquid (by weight), so each can provides approx 48 "fill-ups". At about $1 a lighter plus approx $3 for the butane (in a 12-pack discount pack) you get the equivalent of 48 new, SUPERIOR QUALITY refillable lighters for about $4. That's 8 CENTS apiece folks! FINAL NOTE: I have NOT received any products or discounts in exchange for my opinions. I am just happy when I find a quality product, and in this case one that is actually SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than "cheap" disposable ones... Review: Great Refillable Lighters! - These are great lighters. My husband and I use these multiple times a day. We have them everywhere. In the car, in my purse, all over the house. We like the regular old BIC lighters. The problem with them is that you can not refill them. These Clippers are refillable. Just buy a can of butane with the little nozzle attachments and you are set. You can also refill the flints. You can take out and use part of the lighter as a tapper. Yes, they do come loose in a bubble mailer. Thats fine with me for this price. When they come you will need to fill them with butane. There is just enough in the actual lighter to make sure it works. If you fill it up you will notice the flame will get bigger. So if your flame is short, it might need to be filled. I cant wait until I need to reorder more. Update June 29, 2015 I still have 6 of these lighters left. Others have been lost or went through the washer and dryer, I don't trust them after that. I have not had to toss 1 due to it getting broken or not working through regular use. I also have not had to buy any flints yet.

Best Lighters!
These are great lighters. I love the fact that they are refillable. Less waste. The colors are vibrant and it came with a couple cool extra ones. The lighters are easy to light and have a nice medium size flame. I will definitely look for more of anything Clipper!

My favorite brand of lighter.
Best lighters ever ... and they are refillable if you choose to do that! The first one I ever had I bought while in England .... couldn't find them in stores here, so checked Amazon.com, and there they were! They are slim, so fit in your case, but also long enough to not get lost in your case or bag like the mini ones. They last and last, too.

great value, but not adjustable
if you like a big soft flame, these are a great value. But, if you are like me and like to adjust to a small flame, you can't

Worth it!
The Clipper is an amazing lighter that is far superior to your standard Bic. With its removable flint wheel that doubles as a stirrer/packing tool and a design that allows you to light a pipe without using your fingers, Clipper lighters are incredibly convenient thanks to their design. A dream lighter to those who roll their own cigarettes or to those who smoke herbs from glass pipes.

dont even bother
They are not new by any means , they came very dirty and dusty and out dated. The sticker won't even stay on one of them it's been sitting around so long. They are all old pictures very faded and some won't even light. Very hard to get o light anyways. I'm very disappointed. No solid colors at all either. Ugh idk even know how to return things from Amazon but I'll figure it out. So upset. This was suppose to be a stocking stuffer

Best refillable "real flame" lighters ever, but needs mods to reach its full potential.
I bought this exact set three years ago, and 80% are still perfect and used daily today. Two of them, their bottom buttons got pushed in and rendered them inoperable. I replace the hexagonal (gen 2) flint/thumb wheels with some I salvaged from SCRIPTO brand lighters. I've also done this mod with those cheap, translucent lighters you find everywhere. BIC thumb/flint wheels do not fit. Once the wheels were changed, they're great. Those stock hexagonal wheels seem too dull, or they wear out after a while. I tried cleaning them really well, but I'd have to flick the darn thing 6 times before it would light. Everyone always hated to use my lighters, because it wore out the skin on your thumb or finger. Now, they spark STRONG, and light first time every time. It's all about changing those wheels, which also makes it more comfortable and no longer gives me big callouses. Just a warning, I got excited seeing Clipper Lighters at wallsmarts, so I bought two packs. When I got home, I noticed they're a bit different, and much worse. These are made in China and they say, "Crystal" under the Clipper logo. I just ordered 20 more from the same seller I got these from, hoping they'll be the OG Made in Spain versions. Trying to stock up in case they go extinct. I bought 500 flints from China for like $3, took a month to arrive, but I'm all set. The cheapest bottles of butane I've found so far is BernzOmatic 5.5oz from Home Depot for like $5 I think it was. This picture shows two of the SPAIN lighters on the left, and the newer "Crystal" CHINA lighter in green on the right. The first black SPAIN lighter has a SCRIPTO wheel, it came with double wheels, but I just removed the outer discs. The next red one, has a generic thumb-wheel. The green one has a stock OEM hexagonal wheel.
