PORPER Tip Shaper/Tacker

Seems to be a great tool. I'm anxious to find out if it wears out. It's very small, but very effective in its job. I don't particularly like how it leaves the tips after shaping them - way too much roughness, then again, perhaps I'm thinking this should be used in conjunction with some sandpaper to smooth the tip once it's shapes. I use it though all the time and it beats spending the money on those shapers that have to glued in crystal hard silicon that fall apart after doing your tips a few times. I don't use the tacker side much, but it seems like a nice one to touch up a tip.

I’ve used Porper tip shapers for almost 20 years so when I had my cues stolen I knew which shaper I was going to get. Shapes perfectly, inexpensive and fits in my case. What more could I ask for?

As mentioned in another review, this product is just horrible. The scuff side won't rough up the tip at all and the shaper side won't shape. Therefore, what in the hell did I get out of this? Nothing, Mine went in the trash as well...

Super price for a solid well made tip tool. This will last me many years of heavy use.

The unit is small, but perfectly useful. Good item for you cue bag pocket.
