This mini USB extension cable was easy to install; just plugged it in and it worked perfectly. I used it to extend a really short mini cable that was plugged into a KVM switch, and it functions as it should. The cable is 5' long.

I purchased a cable much like this with Male USB mini to female USB-C, unfortunately I think they left out a little resistor so it didn't work. Which left me looking for another pigtail that could be hooked up to the zoom recorder in the bag and dangle out for easy attachment and port saving function. Disappointed that this wasn't USB-C however I got a mini to C adapter that can go on the end of a standard C cable and I'm happy for now. This cable is wired right it works and it was a decent price nice build quality.

I will concede that not all dashcam cables are the same. With that said, I must report that this cable is NOT compatible with the Rexing V1P Pro. With all this talk about 5-pin connection, in my ignorance, the cable for the Rexing is more than that. Does not fit and I ended up ordering a cable directly from Rexing.

These adaptors - especially the female receptacle do not work correctly. They are just a little too small so when you go to plug in to another device you struggle and eventually end up breaking off the inner plastic pin guide. Better to find a better quality product.

I used this to connect a dashcam to power. The cable for that came with the power converter is very adequate for a front mounted dashcam but about 5 feet short for a rear window mounted dashcam. So this was perfect for that purpose. The dashcam turned on so there was enough power to turn it on. So I can't complain. In an emergency, I can detach it and use it for my GPS if that is necessary. I did not exercise the data handling capabilities of this cable, only the power handling. So this review maybe a bit limited, but that was my purpose in using this.

I installed this cable in my 2016 Ram 1500 truck. The media player on my radio in the truck failed because the factory usb cable was ran though the console. From flipping the console up an down it must have eventually broke the wires inside the factory cable. So I got the mini usb cable from Amazon, which by the way was the only place that had one ran it though my console and hooked it up and now the media player works like a charm. Great product and worked perfectly.

This cable works great

Just a 0.5m extension cable. Quality pf product is good and doesn't reduce the output power. Does exactly what it says on the packet. I bought it to extend the cable to my dashcam.
