Love this sketch book. I've had it for a while and the cover has held up great. Paper is great quality

I ordered the 11 x 14 because I really love the standard letter size book and the idea of having the same amount of pages on a larger canvas with the same quality paper is awesome. Obviously not great for traveling because it's hardback and quite large, but it's a great book.

Good value for money big huge pages lots of space to work , good sturdiness I feel like I could drop this off a 10 story build and it will be fine.

Decent paper thickness. It'll behave itself except with sharpees or water. I've been able to use watercolor pencils. Pages lay flat. The paper is smooth. On bleed through I only had problems with dark liquid ink type pens, or markers if I overworked the area. For the most part I can use both sides of any paper without problems so long as I'm careful. The main downside of these value sketchbooks is the weakness of the spine. It doesn't ever fall apart though, it just looks haggard over time. Also, don't tear out pages. The book doesn't like the loss of it's fellows and spits out other pages at you. If you need a paper out I recommend either glueing it down to the next page or cutting it an inch or so away from the center. Anyway, it's still the best value i've found for paper weight, size, and # of pages.
