Avery Customizable Name Badge Inserts, 2.25" x 3.5", White, 400 Printable Name Tag Inserts (5390)

Name tags were very easy to create and print. Came out beautiful 😍

As with all Avery products, these inserts are high quality and are a breeze to print using the Word templates that can be downloaded from the Avery website. The perforations allow easy separation of the inserts; however, the edges will still have some remaining paper fibers resulting in a "fuzzy" appearance (no matter how much back-forth flexing is done at the perforation). As such, faster and near-flawless results can be obtained by simply using a metal straightedge and cutting along the perforation lines with a utility knife. For my application, these inserts were used in conjunction with Keylion Heavy Duty ID Card Badge Holders (also available here at Amazon) to make economical identification tags for fuel containers and contractor tool bags. The Avery inserts were printed on both sides (left side - right side), folded in half at the center perforation and inserted into the clear holders, thereby allowing the tags to be read regardless of orientation. To secure the tags to the fuel containers and tool bags, 8" black (UV-resistant) cable ties were used. Please refer to attached photos for additional information.

Avery is a good name for printable tags. This product I think was older as I had to track down another template rather than what the box said, but the new template did work pretty well. I had to adjust my images some, but it did work. The final name tags were sturdy and look good.

Worked well and so much more affordable than my local office supply store, sadly.

I printed labels using the Avery template and mail merge software. This made it easy to produce name tags for a 200-person meeting.

We just put on a conference for the nonprofit I volunteer for and these were a lifesaver. They broke apart very easily and I loved the online features to be able to print on the front and back of the name badges. The only thing on the online area that I would love is to be able to insert a picture into a cell on a spreadsheet so I can import a picture directly onto the name badges. The reason I would love this is because we added different alert circles depending on what package they bought for example if they were there for the combo for 3 days or conference only for 2 days was a different option or if they bought a banquet ticket it was one color in a different location or if they were lodging at the facility or not and if they had a single or double occupancy. It was a lot of work to get all of that set up but once I got a system set up it was pretty easy but I wish it was something that I could automatically do to save us a lot of time. But besides that it was a great product

The product itself is fine, unfortunately the customer has to find out first, whether the pocket badge comes with or without an insert, then to find the correct insert is difficult. Perhaps the clip, name tag pocket, and the name tag insert should be sold as a complete unit.
