Great product!
This adjustable weighted vest if very good. You can add or remove the weights to fit your comfort and strength level. You can put the sand bag weights in the front and back of the vest. This is a great method to improve your overall strength and conditioning. The vest came with 10 sand bags. I sweat a great deal when I use this vest. I usually just let it dry out outside. About once a week, I will run it through our washing machine (without the weights) on the delicate cycle to clean and deodorize. The vest is comfortable. I do use the shoulder pads to increase comfort. It fits great.

Great quality, great range – just start small
Really happy with this weighted vest. The build quality is solid, the price was right, and I love that it offers such a wide range — you can go as light as 20 lbs and scale all the way up to 150. It’s comfortable to wear considering the weight, though fair warning: once you load it up, it will feel heavy — that’s the point. Here’s my old-man advice if you’re new to weighted vests: don’t start at the top. Add weight gradually and let your body adapt — wear it for walks or around the house first before you jump into workouts. Your joints, back, and knees will thank you. Once you’re used to it, this vest becomes an incredible tool for training, hiking, or just turning everyday movement into exercise. Overall, it’s exactly what I wanted — sturdy, adjustable, and capable of growing with you as you get stronger.

A good buy
I am very pleased with this weighted vest. It appears to be made well and my walks are very challenging with it loaded at 48lbs (I bought a 60lb vest, but removed some of the weights). It is as comfortable as can be expected. The main discomfort is felt in the shoulders, though I did buy it with the shoulder pads. This vest is less expensive and more comfortable than the vest I had from one of the big fitness companies. I definitely recommend this vest. Get more results from your walks!

Reviewing after about a year of use
To preface, I’ve been using this vest primarily for adding weight to pushups, pull ups, dips, and squats. I can’t really speak well to how good it would be for walking or running but it is definitely snugger/less bouncier than other vests I’ve tried. I bought the 60lb version. Pros: -Weight distribution is about as close to perfect as I’ve experienced, and adjusting the weight by removing or adding back the weight packs on the fly is fairly simple. -It is also very comfortable through full range of motion on even things like squats and pullups which pleasantly surprised me. -It is still in close to new condition after a year of use so I’m gonna say the construction/sewing is robust enough for me at least. Cons: -I wish I didn’t spend extra for the shoulder pads. I don’t used them at all at this point, and when I was trying them, they didn’t alter the comfort (which is overall pretty decent) for the types of training I use the vest for (I bet they would for long walks though), -Putting the vest on and taking it off is a bit more of a process than other vests I’ve tried, especially at higher weights since you don it over the head rather than over the shoulders. -When breathing hard it’s a bit restrictive on how deep I can breath at the tightness required to prevent bouncing during explosive movements. Overall: Zero regrets on the purchase on my end. I use it all the time, and I don’t foresee needing to buy a new vest for many years.

Great weight distribution!
When you pick this thing up and feel the full weight you think, "there's no way Im going to be able to put this on". Then you carefully slide in to it and realize that the perfect weight distribution makes this pretty darn bearable. In fact, your legs are more likely to get tired than your back is! I needed this to train for a fitness test coming up. I love the ease of adjusting the weight to what I want, and the 5 pockets on both sides give you options for where you put the weights. Its comfortable and the lower chest band gives great support. I didnt get the ones with the shoulder pads, and while I do think they would make it more comfortable, you can easily add your own make shift padding that will do the same thing. This is a great exercise tool to really help you build muscle and strength. Its very good quality and seems like it will be durable over time.

Great quality vest!
Great weighted vest!! It fits well and feels super secure. It’s easy to remove or replace the weights - they are each 2.5 pounds and there’s 4 in front and back. The vest just straps around your waist with easy velcro. It also has a little water bottle holder and a place to clip on a carabiner.

Durable, Comfortable, and Perfect for Workouts!
The RUNmax Adjustable Weighted Vest is fantastic quality and has really taken my workouts to the next level. The adjustable weights make it easy to increase resistance as I get stronger, and the option with shoulder pads makes it much more comfortable during longer sessions. It fits securely without shifting around, and the build feels very durable. Great for running, bodyweight training, or even just walking. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add extra intensity to their fitness routine!

Enhanced my walk significantly!
I bought this with the extra shoulder pads and was glad I did. It takes some getting used to but works just as I expected. I walk 4 miles a day and wear this vest at least half of that. At 210 pounds this 22 pound vest is perfect! It has definitely increased my walking VOX! I appreciate its balanced weight. After several weeks of use I hardly notice the extra weight.

I recommend this weighted vest. It is excellent for the price. I wish it had a pocket for my phone.

This vest does what it’s supposed to and does it well. The weight is adjustable in clean increments, the fit is secure, and the shoulder pads make a real difference for longer sessions. Most vests skip that comfort layer or sell it separately—this one includes it, and it’s hard to find again once stock dries up. The nylon shell wipes clean easily, and the sandbag weights stay put without shifting. It’s bulky at full load, but the balance is solid and the straps hold firm. No bouncing, no awkward shifting, and no stitching failures so far. If you’re serious about adding resistance to walks, stairs, or bodyweight work, this is a reliable pick. Just don’t wait on the shoulder pad version—it’s not something you’ll easily source later.
