Are scissors ok or should tin snips be used?

Hello, you will be able to cut the stainless mesh easily with a pair of scissors.

Do you have to take bumper off car to use this product the cracks are lumpy?.

The bumper doesn't have to be removed but it would make the job a lot easier if it was removed.

Does it make fuel proof repair for lawn mower?

It depends on what part of the lawnmower you hope to "plastic weld." If its an outside plastic part that you wish to patch, once you sink the mesh into the plastic and then reinforce it by melting additional plastic rods so that the mesh disappears, protected by the new plastic coating, then a bit of spilled fuel won't hurt it. But if you wish to plastic-weld the fuel tank, itself, I wouldn't count on that keeping your fuel inside your tank.

It was strong. I used it to work with the plastic welding and I found it does work well pushing it into the plastic like that. It doesn't disintegrate when you torch it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The use of the steel screen to melt into the plastic, reinforced and made the repair process easier. I bought extra for other time.

Works well with plastic welding. Only one piece, when the add copy leads you to believe there is at least two. Incredibly expensive for just one piece.
