This thing is awesome. It made a huge impact on my lighting ability - for very little cash. For the money, I could get more bang for the buck. Quite impressive, nothing to wear out and I'll be using this a LOT more. You can't go wrong.

I had never used a snoot before this, and was quite pleased with how much control I can get with it. I also like how easily it attaches to the Bowens mount on my monolights and even my speedlite to Bowens adaptors. Putting the honeycomb in the snoot gives a very tight control of the light. I doubt that I'll ever use the colored gels, but it's nice to have them, just in case. Each of these gels have a peel-off protective layer that needs to be removed, but they provide good surface protection, so I'm leaving them on until I need to use them.

Professional quality. This snoot is built as well as the professional snoots I have gotten my hands on. The product was smaller than I thought because I was expecting it to be the size of the snoot that fit around the 7 inch reflectors but this was a mistake on my part. Its about 6-8 inches long and about 3 inches in diameter and bottom opening is about 2.5 inches. My only issues is that the shadow created by the snoot is not as sharp as I would have hoped. I was looking for a clean shadow edge, but instead there is a hot spot and another corona like area around it probably created by the light bouncing around the inside. Either way it is a good value at the nearly 16 USD i spent at the holiday sale price. Id be satisfied with paying 20 USD for this otherwise. The aluminium is dense and the snoot doesn't feel cheap. The grid insert also doesn't feel too cheap although it is thin and breakable, which is somewhat inherent to what it is. The don't seem to be a standard color so that hurts their usefulness as you may not be able to match them to something else. Over all the product is easy to use because you just find the bowens mount notches and align the snoot press and turn the snoot to lock it in place. Snoots created a spotlight from whatever light source you place inside and I used mine with the godox s bracket gen 2, so this fits that bracket at least. aside from the corona of faded light around the spot this works well. I'm not sure how I would sharpen the spot at the moment but it should be workable.

This product delivers as described. It is versatile, works well and is very functional. Great in build quality, ease of use, fit and a very good value for the money. I highly recommended it!

It doesn't fit well in any of my bowens mount lights. It always seems to tilt down a little. It still makes a fairly large circle of light, big not as large as a standard reflector with a grid. It would be nice if it was a smaller circle, because the light can only get so close before it's in frame. I guess it's usable for medium to large size subjects. If you are working with small subjects you may want to find one with flags or gobo. I always regret buying cheap lighting modifiers, but good ones are just so expensive!

Love them they work perfectly for sculpting light.

Excellent fit on Alien Bees. Had been using cinefoil for longest time but these snoots worked perfectly. Just got to watch the heat of the modeling light is on, it will burn.

These are not made of plastic and are great for a background or highlight light with a grid and colored gels included. Standard Bowens mount to fit my Godox and Neewer strobes monolights. Kind of a pain to remove colored gels film backing but otherwise a great deal for the price!

Snoot in tutta sostanza buono ma con alcune accortezze: 1. Anche se MINI snoot, questo è davvero corto e restringe relativamente il fascio anche con la griglia perché ricordiamo che più lontana è la bocca di uscita dalla lice e più concentrato sarà il fascio. 2. Materiale che si surriscalda davvero tanto e dopo un'oretta di lavoro con luce pilota diventa davvero difficile da rimuovere perché incandescente. 3. Le "gelatine" in dotazione CON UTILIZZO INTENSO si squagliano, non solo per il calore della lampada ma anche per quello del flash se usato al massimo sopra i 600/800w. Tutto sommato interessante per il prezzo ma per un uso amatoriale o sporadico

I picked up this snoot for a bar photography gig it’s been awesome for adding drama and precision to my lighting. It gives a tight, focused beam that’s perfect for highlighting faces, products, or background spots. You do lose some brightness, and it takes a bit of tweaking to aim it just right, but once it’s dialed in, the results look super professional and creative.
