Weight is not close to the real Honshu Spartan Sword
Weight is not close to the real Honshu Spartan Sword. This is just ok. Size is correct. But if you are trying to replicate the actual weight of the Honshu Spartan Sword, this doesn't come anywhere close.

Lighter than the real one
Great for practice, but much lighter than the real one. So we'll made ,it will be handed down for many generations !

It's a large knife, not a sword.
If you are like me, it is sometimes hard to translate numbers and inches visually into a real item. Well, just know that this is more of a large knife instead of a short sword. It's 23.125 inches long, which is small even for swords of the Hellenistic times. The movie Spartan swords this is loosely based off of are in turn based off the ancient kopis, which had an average length of 25.6 inches The average Hellenistic Greek man was shorter then the average male height today, so combined, shorter then ancient swords/taller human average, this thing comes off as a huge bowie knife in my hands.
