God this for my dad, who is blind in one eye and he loves it because the light goes all the way around the magnifying glass, is bright and isn’t blurry . It is a little heavier and bulkier , but worth it. Very well made. I myself have severe dry eye and hv a different one ahd hated it. I ordered this one myself ahd for my mom and I keep it by my bed and have one in the kitchen for labels. Easy to use. Performs well. A little bulky but if you hv used any of the others with a light, you won’t mind . It’s not heavy. Just a little bigger and better.

I bought this for my father who’s 70 years old and doesn’t wear prescription glasses. He does wear cheaters and had an older magnifying glass but complained about the fact when he was using it that it was hard to see whatever he was reading or looking at due to the lighting on whatever he was trying to focus on. So I ordered this for him, not expecting much for something that costs a little more than a beverage at Starbucks. I’m suprisingly impressed with the glass and magnification quality and he loves it because he can use ambient light, or select white light, yellow light, or both to enhance what he’s looking at. The device does require two batteries standard AAA’s, and those are not included but my father also suffers from arthritis and always struggles to replace batteries whether it’s a tv remote or a flash light. This magnifying glass is very easy for him to remove and replace the batteries and the battery cover without any issues. I suspect he won’t have to change them for a LONG time, but if he has to he won’t have a problem. The handle and case are made out of a plastic material which is basically a standard regardless how much you spend on a magnifying glass, but the plastic materials this product is made out of seems ultra-durable, my father has shakes pretty bad and has dropped this product too many times to count and it hasn’t broken cracked or shattered, unlike his previous magnifying glass I bought from a different brand on Amazon that also was more expensive than this product. Great quality, great features, made affordable and easy to use for people who may have struggle with accessibility or physical disabilities.

This is the best magnifying glass I've ever had. The lighting really enhances the magnification making my old eyes see CLEARLY! BAng for Buck, this is a winner!

I love this magnifying glass! I am an artist who is loosing her vision and this glass really helps me when I draw! I love the lights! IT is easy to hold and easy to use. I liked it so much that I went back and bought another one for computer use. Just be careful because the on/off switch is easy to accidentally turn on....thus 4 stars, or else it would be 5!

This magnifying is a great product. It would also make a great gift. It is sturdy, and easy to hold and move around. It is easy to use and has a nice handle for holding. I am glad I purchased. It is also attractive and I will probably buy one for a gift. It really helps with the small print.

My co-workers love this magnifying glass with multiple lighting options. I bought one of these magnifying glasses for one of the guys at work and when another worker borrowed it, he wanted one as well. A nice compact size, takes batteries, which makes it a little heavy, but not a big deal.

This really makes reading the fine print easier. The light is very nice.

I've been really pleased with this magnifying glass. I use it to check for pests on my house plants, it's great for looking under leaves and in the middle of the new growth to see if there are any of those pesky thrips or the like hiding away. Any new plants that comes in the house now has to pass muster under this magnifying glass, especially this time of year. It doesn't seem too matter where I buy the house plants from, they often arrive with extra guests. The glass itself feels solid and well-made. The light is a good idea and makes it easier to see what I am peering at. My eyesight, even corrected isn't particularly good these days, and it is difficult to focus on small things so this magnifying glass with additional light is extremely helpful. There is bright white light, a softer white and a mixture of the two. It is easy to cycle between the options using the button on the handle. The magnifying glass takes three AAA batteries, I've put some rechargeable ones in and they have worked fine. I'd say the only thing that would improve this product is a small case to protect the glass, although I found one in the house which I'd been using for something else and which is better than nothing. I do think the magnifying glass would quite quickly get scratched if just stuffed in a drawer.
