Has anyone else experienced the issue of the cup edges curving outward?

That happens when the outer layer over the cups is too tight (like if it selectively shrinks in the wash), just stretch the outermost fabric layer a bit.

No it is not a minimizer, but fits very well, no spillage.

Does the 42B have two hooks or three?

Probably depends on size. Mine has 2 (32D).
