Nice color, seems well made
I've edited this review and changed it from 4 to 5 stars. Originally I wrote: "The bad: It was advertised at 6x10. It is 4' 8" x 9'. If I measure from the very corners then it is 5' 5" by 9' 3". There isn't much stretch in this thing but maybe over time it'll eventually be closer to 6 x 10. Maybe..." However they've been up for three days and i've been tightening a bit every day and I have to say both shades actually are now very close to 6x10. That's from the very corners which are a couple inches further than the actual functional shade part. But it is the advertised size. So, for those who measure it fresh out of the box like I did - install it and tighten it up a few times and I think you'll find it is the advertised size. here's the rest of my old review: The good: the color is right on and lovely. The shade itself seems well sewn and the fabric is the weird plasticy stuff I expected. And the installation was easy and fine. (I had bought the recommended kit with turnbuckles and do recommend one of those) I just got it so I can't say how durable it is but it feels like it shouldn't blow apart in the first big wind. It feels like good quality. I ordered two of these and they are exactly the same size. And it is noticeably cooler under the shades and also inside the house whose windows are now shaded. Unless these fall apart before the end of summer I'd order them again in the future.

Great quality
Great quality. It's been hanging since 2021 and still intact... Even the color still holding.

It makes shade. It held up in high winds.
UPDATE We had several days of higher winds (gusts to 20mph). The sail held up just fine. I was afraid it might split or tear but it did not. NOTE: I used wire rope to hang the sail. I did not use cheap nylon rope which can pull loose or free. The wire rope is securely attached to posts/tree and is looped and tied back upon itself using crimping sleeves and wire rope clamps which are attached to turnbuckles. ORIGINAL The shade sail is okay. Here are some bullet points which some may consider pros and some may consider cons. • It diminishes the sun. Note that it is NOT a blackout shade which is clear from the description. It does make a nice shade without completely blocking the sun. • The material seems cheap and light. This makes me wonder how it will hold up under the summer sun. I live in a desert area where the temperatures will get to 115 degrees. The sun will bake this shade sail all summer long. It will be interesting to see how good it looks six months from now. They supposedly have a 5 year warranty. We will see. • The sail does not come with hanging hardware. This is actually a good thing since a “one size fits all” hardware solution would not cover all the different ways you could hang the shade. • We got the 12’ x 16’ sail. The actual shadow area with the sun overhead is about 14’ x 10’. This was a disappointment. The loss is along the curved edge. I knew that there would be some areal loss but it is larger than expected. You can purchase much heavier shade sails (about twice the weight). However, the best ones can cost almost $2000. My thought was that I could buy 40 of these sails and just replace them each year for the next 10 years and I would be money ahead.

Best purchase ever!
So to start off, we purchased their biggest size (20x26), and we didn’t use the rope that it came with. We had to use longer, thicker rope for one side of the canopy to reach the tree and the post we installed ($15 at Lowe’s). We first installed it on the home side first with no rope, so when we got to the opposite side, we were way off! Good thing we had our own rope to finish the job. We bought the Sunshade Sail Hardware Kit since it’s not included with this item. The color is light just like the picture showed, and fabric is pretty thick too. When I look out the window, I feel like I’m going to see the Sahara desert outside because the color reflects into our window LOL! We get shade all day long! And definitely helps against the sun/heat because the car’s interior doesn’t get as hot as it did when it was exposed. The instructions suggested to do 2 Highs & 2 Lows (where the corners of the canopy should be) for more shade with the sun moving and all. But we did 3 Highs , and 1 Low. The Low is the post so when it rains, the water can travel down towards the post. We live in Arkansas where we experience all 4 seasons, plus snow and tornadoes, so we’ll be taking it down once winter hits, and put it up after tornado season (Spring time). We’ll definitely be purchasing a smaller size for our back porch. Easy to install, but don’t forget to spray yourself with mosquito spray because we got attacked while installing this!

Excellent
On a whim, put two of these up on our neighborhood playground to help provide some afternoon shade from our Texas heat. Worked perfectly for that purpose. These remain in place 24/7, nearly two years and many storms later, they’ve held up unbelievably well. Will replace soon simply to refresh and because of the tremendous price value afforded. Highly recommend!

Good quality hit or miss sizing
Odd fit one size down was way too small, size up was too long... Returned

Durable Shade Sail
I had to use some trial & error in getting this sail supported by fence posts but once I got the dimensions correct, the sail fit perfectly and provided wonderful shade during our hot Boise summers. We took today after 5 months of being exposed to the sun's rays and it felt like it did when it was new - flexible and sturdy! Great product and we look forward the ease of putting it up in the Spring of 2026!

INCREDIBLE product
UNBELIEVABLE product! I bought mine and hung it July 2020. It is still hanging, in NC and we just had a ice storm. This was what it looked like 1/28/26, I knocked the ice off and got it down because another huge storm is coming. It is perfectly fine. Still no tears and Ill hang it back up after this passes!

This product has saved our lives this summer. We bought the hardware that was sold separately, and the two, then went together perfectly. It is a plastic material, but it is very breathable. We ordered it in the beige, and the light still comes through with the sun, but it blocks the direct sun. I live in a very windy area and it is still in perfect shape. It is extremely easy to take down and takes less than two minutes. So we are able to put it up and take it down depending on the weather.

Great product, I used in combination with another shade the same color. It stayed up all summer through wind, rain, and persistent sun. Rain drains through, so no sagging from water. Permeable enough the strong winds don't pull too much. Solid D rings for hanging. Great product and a good price. Arrived as expected.

Super bien! Je l’ai ai ajuster avec des tendeurs de cordes à linge. Cela va beaucoup mieux que les trucs qui viennent avec en ce qui a trait à mon installation
