How is this different than the original iodex what should each of them be used for?

Hi, the Iodex MS has the same antiseptic properties as regular Iodex. They can both be used to disinfect minor cuts and scrapes. However, the addition of Methyl Salicylate allows the Iodex MS to be used as a rub for sore muscles, or applied to the chest as a decongestant.
