Oh and PS?? When I say a dozen, the DATES ARE CUT inside! You aren't even getting full dates!!! And there's barely any coconut. I used to get them bulk from Ralphs back in the day, there was a lot of yummy coconut that made them CRUNCHY! So trust me when I say there's barely 75 CENTS worth of fruit, it's the truth! (Adding import fees, packing and earning a profit these should cost NO MORE than $3.99 or $4.50 tops!) They are very OVERLY sweet and fattening so on the plus side that might make your tub last a week. Sadly they are very addictive... but who can spend these prices in COVID times when they barely opened the lockdown 3 days ago and the moratorium on rent ends in 2 weeks?! :-/ Good luck to you.

Q: Are these made with organic dates?

No and YES!! A simple google search told me that dates are regularly NOT sprayed with anything because pests don't live in the M.E. climates where they are grown. So dates aren't wildcrafted but they are cultivated just like organic but no need to certify them. I have severe MCS so cannot eat toxchems like pesticides etc. and I did not react. They are overly sweet. Once accustomed they are delicious and melt in your mouth! BONUS: NO (allergenic and hard to digest) yuck raw almonds in these. My only gripe? There is hardly ANY coconut on them! They need a double rolling/helping of MORE coconut to make them crunchy and flavorful on the outside. JMO! :)

Q: Why is shipping higher than the price of the product???

More importantly: why do they cost $11 MORE than their regular instacart price of $7.95? You are paying $18.15 (June 2021) for just one tub! (Plus $10 for shipping!)

I think unsweetened coconut is used, of course it is naturally sweet, so I can't be positive, but I believe it is unsweetened.
