I had my knee replaced several months ago. This has been the best cream for protecting my scar from the hot Florida sun.

I previously bought that new Mederma advanced gel with skin protectant to try it out because you only have to apply it once and etc. It did not heal my scars. It made them darker when I went out in the sun with shorts on. I then ordered the cream. I'm sticking with the cream because even though you have to apply it more often, it works better for me!

BEST SCAR CREAM EVER!!!!!!Buy it! You can't tell that I had parathyroid surgery at all! It's even helping a very long incision on my abdomen where I had my gallbladder removed and then through the same incision a year later hernia surgery. I literally tell everyone to buy this!!

Helps with the scar but made me break out and have acne is that area after using for a month so had to discontinue

Prior to my surgery, the physician recommended I purchase Mederma to help with the wound and scarring. I began using it as soon as the bandages were removed and the healing is going well, and the scarring is barely visible. I will continue to use for a while; it's been about a month since the surgery. It's easy to use. The main drawback is the odor, but I'm happy to contend with that for a lifetime of better-looking skin around the surgical site. I'm 100% satisfied with the results so far.

Arrived 18th Dec '23, with an expiry of Jan 24. I'm in UK. Disappointing on that fact alone. Will see how effective it is during the 6 weeks that I can use it. Further to my post above, having used cream 3 times a day to 4th Jan, the wound has nearly disappeared. I've had the mark, where glasses have rubbed at the side of my nose, for 3 years and despite having new glasses for a year, the mark didn't go, until now, so surprisingly pleased.
