Worked properly with Feit Smart LED Strip Light from Costco
I picked these up to be able to split the FEIT LED Smart Strip Light from Costco (Item 1528979 or Feit item "TAPE16RGBW") which is a 10mm 5-wire ("RGBW") strip with a silicone weather sealant on top of it. These connectors have worked fine, I was able to carefully split the strip halfway across the copper strip cut points and had enough contact on either side that the contact points on these connectors went through the conductor points and made good contact. While the instructions say to simply go through the back of waterproof LED strips, I used an X-acto craft blade and a little careful cutting to remove the silicone bead on top instead - if I do one without removing the strip I'll update this review. For cutting the LED strip itself, I'm not sure what the best option is - I used a reasonably heavy-duty knife blade cutting into cardboard, but if I'd had a sharp guillotine-style paper cutter I might have used that instead. It's probably easiest when doing that cutting to first make a slice all the way through the silicone with a very sharp craft blade, that will probably make it easier to keep enough copper contact on both sides.

Works Well
These made it easy to connect wire to LED strip lights - watching the short video in the product photos helps, especially seeing the technique to use for connecting the strip light side….there's a right way to do it, and it isn’t difficult. Highly recommend using pliers to properly close the connector. I used these with 5-pin Sengled 9ft, 16ft and 32ft wifi multicolor light strips - which have thick waterproof silicone covering. I did not peel back or remove waterproofing. One side of the connector has 5 holes for the 22AWG wires to fit in and they provide perfect alignment for piercing, with no stripping necessary. Connected 1st time, each time, with no issues - No complaints here

They work but not my favorite
These will work . I found them a little frustrating and settled for Vrabocry that I really liked plus there's a price advantage.

Work well
Got 20 of these connectors to make my 10 of my own 90deg connectors (the few 12mm ones sold on this site have bad reviews). Originally I panicked because the first connector I grabbed had the wire side closed and I wondered how I was supposed to get the wires in there. Then I used a utility knife to find the seam and pry open the cover, which took a bit of doing. After that it was pretty easy peasy. Cut off a piece of 5-cable wire and peel it apart. Insert all cable in first connector and close the cover with flat pliers. Take the white cable (inner corner) and measure & cut it to fit at 90deg into the second connector. Then bend the other wires at 90deg and snip at the end of the white cable. Insert all cables into holes of second connector and close the cover with flat pliers. Voilà - you just made your own 90deg connector (see first picture). I checked each connector with an Ohm meter and they’re all good to go. Things to be aware of: 1) As far as I’m concerned the LED tape goes in upside down. For a waterproof tape (which I’m using), the rounded upper side goes into the body of the connector and the hinged cover will go over the bottom side. Also, the pins inside the connector are very long - they’ll go through the entire tape, which makes sense, since usually the copper connectors on the tape are on the flat/bottom side. This makes it a bit harder to make sure the pins of the connector are properly aligned with the copper connectors on the tape. (See picture #2) 2) The cables go through holes. This is good because it aligns the cable with the pin that goes through the insulation. However, if you plan on using cables thicker than 22AWG, it will probably not work unless you sand down insulation/wire to fit. (See picture #3)

THESE are the ones to get. Every other kind has problems.
I finally found these and they work beautifully because they have guide holes for the individual wires to slide into before crimping down. Every other kind I tried (like the ones which are black on one side and clear on the other) just push the wires down haphazardly and miss the contacts sometimes. They do not work 100% of the time; you do have to test them and check carefully that you get firm pressure and line up the copper contacts on the strip side. But after a little trial and error they work splendidly; don't give up!

Works Well with Costco's Feit Electric LED Strip
I used these to connect multiple cuts of Costco's Feit Electric LED strip (5 pin, 10 mm). Worked well with no issues (note, you will have to trim off some of the weatherproof coating off the LED strip to fit into these plugs). One side is clearly designed for wiring, while the other side is to snap into the LED strip you have cut. Highly recommend.

Wasted money and time
I tried to add RGBW lighting to my bookshelves in my office. I was able to get 1 out of 10 to work and I followed the video as close as possible. I ended up wasting an entire strand of LED lights to get this to work. I can't get back the time or money spent on this.

Great pin!!! Saved me lots of time

I could have used some detailed instructions to be a little more sure that I was doing it right and clipping them onto the correct part of the LED tape.
