It works flawlessly. I placed a transmitter with an output amplitude of -25 dB inside, and its signal was completely suppressed—reduced to zero. Literally no signal escaped to the outside. It blocks virtually all radio frequencies. A phone placed inside instantly loses its connection and becomes unreachable. It isn't cheap, but it is well worth the money. It is made from high-quality materials.

Works great if your key is in the bag you can’t open your door or start your car it’s amazing I got one for each vehicle so when I get out of the car I lock it up and put my key in the bag and then in my pocket I also keep them in a bag at the house perfect size for carrying it in my pocket the price is great and the protection of my keys is great Thank You

These work so well. I use one for my car key and use the other for credit cards when I travel. I have tested the signal blocking by attempting to unlock my car while my fob is in the bag, and it is a no-go. Even when I am next to the car, my car is unable to sense the presence of the key, which is exactly what I am looking for. These are small enough to easily fit in my handbook, but large enough to hold all of my cards and keys. I highly recommend - especially for travel, visiting theme parks, fairs, or any other place where your information might get scanned!

UPDATE March 2024: After 17 months of use, the RF protection is no longer present in this faraday pouch. It’s clear from other users of this and similar products that these pouches have a lifespan and are not designed to last in perpetuity. The only problem is there is no way to determine the useful life and the manufacturer doesn’t provide any guidance on lifecycle either. I suspect the failure point is folding the fabric multiple times per day. You basically have to test the pouch every so often to see if it still works. I’m not psyched about the possibility of a thief catching a signal between failure and the next test. Yet I’m not sure there are any other options. I have yet to see a faraday pouch on the market with a 100% success rate forever, and no manufacturer is willing to admit their pouch has limited lifespan. So, I’m planning on replacing these every six months. This particular bag is inexpensive enough to replace at that interval, and I know my current set lasted that long. Plus it’s generally well made otherwise. (Still haven’t gotten additional colors or a way to tell multiple bags apart other than putting tape on them, which looks kind of terrible.) Normally I’m not a fan of Amazon’s “subscribe and save” service, but if anything deserves it, it’s this product. Yet, it’s not even offered, which is a pity. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Works as advertised and intended. Feels like very nice construction and materials. The nylon outer fabric is sturdy and feels like a nice woven backpack material. The elastic band is fine, but I’m betting that’s the eventual failure point. I didn’t realize this until I got the package, but there are 2 bags to an order, not one. Makes these a good bargain. Deceptively simple fold-over construction. Probably not the bag to use while running. But should be fine otherwise. I have two big issues with the bag: 1) Needs to come in other colors, have a place to label, or otherwise natively tell these bags apart. I have 4 in the house and have to go buy some sort of charm or colored tape to tell which keys are in which bag. 2) The opening of the bag is slightly smaller than rest of bag and expands more past the opening. Limits what can fit past the opening. Can’t get more keys than the actual fob past the opening even though the bag once key is in has plenty of room. Would really like to get my whole ring of keys in the bag rather than having to keep the fob separate from other keys. Would probably buy again, but look hard at competitors with colors.

I bought a pair of these bags in April 2025 for my car fob. They worked as expected for several months shielding the fob when it was in the bag. Now a few months later, the shield is failing. I can open the car door when standing near the car when the fob is fully enclosed in the bag. It seems that through use, the shield wears out in places. I found this to be the case in other Faraday bags. These bags should be considered as a consumable, needing to be replaced every few months.

The Faraday Bag for Keyfobs is not what I expected at all. I was just looking for a shielding bag, but what I got was much more than that! At first, I felt that the Faraday bag was going to be of poor quality due to the way it was packaged. However, after feeling the texture of the bag and putting it to the test, I was very pleased to see that I got a good quality item for the price I paid. When I put my keyfob in the bag and pressed the button to open my car, it would not. It simply lost all connectivity to the car as if the keyfob stopped working. When I took it out of the bag, the keyfob was working just fine. This is an amazing product because it does exactly what it tells you it's going to do. The material is also fantastic because when I poured water on the bag, the items inside were dry and protected. It may look like a simple bag, but it is definitely much more than just simple. It is well worth the price paid for and have already recommended the product to a few friends in need of the shielding bag.

Everyone with a remote control key fob should own one of these. Easily keeps my key secure in my pocket. I store my key in it at home and whenever I am away from my vehicle

It works. I used it for my car fob and when it's in the pouch and the cover to the punch folded over and tucked into place as the instructions say, I cannot open the car door. So far so good after using it for a few days.

I did my search and decided to give it a shot. It block the signal of an m3 2024 gt turbo fob even if the case is not fully closed. I think they enhanced the inner layers somehow. Nevertheless, I have read that eventually over time, the faraday cage tends to lose its strength, so you better close it properly. It is kinda bulky, but the fabric material is comfortable in the pocket. For newbies: for opening the door, the key needs to be taken out of the case, then turn on the engine, and once it’s started, you can store your key again inside the cage, the engine will work with no issues. But when you park your car, and turn off the engine, if the key is still inside the case, it won’t lock up automatically your car, you need to take it out nearby for taking advantage of the auto-lock feature, then you can store it again. At the beginning is kinda annoying, but you get use to it. I would definitely use it almost on a daily basis, safety first :)
