Just installed on my electrical panel. Works as intended. Like the quality & thickness. Smooth operation. Be aware that your panel holes maybe slightly off from the required position from instructions. This is no fault of the item or manufacture but rather inconsistence with panel manufactured. Just drill the holes in panels slightly higher.

This one fit! I have a Square D QO panel with the 200 amp mains breaker at the bottom center of the panel, 1-1/2" gap. We installed the 50 amp generator inlet breaker just above on the left rail and this interlock works! It installed cleanly and is easy to use. Definitely recommended.

Easy install, and although I haven't needed to switch out yet, this will do the job. It is an inexpensive option for safely hooking a back-up generator into your service box.

This seems well made and installed in about 10 minutes, but mine did not come with instructions (hence only 4 stars). Luckily the Amazon listing includes a video showing how to do it. However, if I had lined it up exactly as shown in the video the alignment would have been off and it would NOT have worked. Make sure to lay the device out on the panel cover first and line it up so it will work, then mark lines for the left and right of the plate, then hold the plate only up to mark your holes. Also, there is not a lot of leeway in the hole placement, so you have to drill the holes right on. Use a brad point drill bit so it doesn't wander when you start your hole, or you could probably make the holes a little bigger than the provided bit so you have a little wiggle room.

Kit was easy to install and at a great price. Good quality. Would buy again.

Easy to install. As others have said--don't align as shown in the directions...move it to the left. Test location before drilling. The included decals are a bonus.

This generator interlock kit works great. Any dummy can install it.
