Gates 21406 Premium Molded Coolant Hose

Perfect replacement for 1988 d150 5.2L. I did have to trim a smidge off to fit just right but better a smidge long than a smidge short.

Wont fit an 1986 dodge ramcharger 318. The hose I received arrived cut at the wrong angle from the factory. I ordered the same hose last year which was cut correctly which is 90 degrees from the side of the hose.The angle the hose is cut at a 45 degree doesn't match up flush with the thermostat housing. There isnt enough rubber left to seal because of the angle.Quality control problem or they shipped a previously returned item.They did promptly send a replacement hose but it was obviously a returned item they sent. I now believe both hoses were previously returned by other buyers. The pics show that the replacement hose has wear inside indicative of a previous installation and return which the first defective hose didn't have. The first 3 pics are of the hose with blue tape, it is the first hose they sent which is being returned. The last 3 pics are of the USED replacement hose they sent as a replacement.. They are inexpensive for a reason if your build is on a deadline I'd steer clear.

This fit my 1987 D250 Dodge truck just fine.
