RBL022P Premium Rain Barrel Linking Kit(Two Brass Bulkhead Fittings and One 2 FT 3/4" I.D. Hose)

This worked great for joining two rain barrels together, turning one into an overflow barrel for the other. The kit was easy to install, fit perfectly, and doesn't leak. What more could you ask for?

The hose was easy to install, it is a very good value for the quality of materials. If your barrels are side by side, the length is perfect. It looks nice and durable. Needs a 1" hole on both ends to install.

The price is very competitive, the hose is an above average grade but not at the higer grade end. The hose, as other reviewers describes, was packed into a box with 2-Kinks at either end. The INSTRUCTIONS describe that the hose should be straightened and left in the sun allowing to heat up, yhen it recovers its normal roundish profile. I included a phito so you could see what it “recovered” to after 1-day taped to a flat stick and left in the sun on a warm 80+ day on top of the (off) air conditioner. It seems to have “recovered” the same shape as the unkinked part of the hose. The gaskets at each end and the ?brass? Fittings appear of substantial strength & quality (haven’t adequately tested this for sufficient time to comment on its leak proofing) … may add more later. I did not use the Bungs, although they appear well made. I used NORWESCO bungs because I have substantial use experience with that brand/type ,,, they work without exception, no matter how large the containment! Added 1-week later: NO LEAKS … the hose performs perfectly, no drips at all with mild tightening … andd NO KINKS.

Reliable connection for the extra barrel.

I bought this to connect our rain barrell to the diverter - seems very sturdy - was hooked up quickly and the valves seem very good quality. Rain barrell is full and all seems to be working great.

Hardware, conections good. The hose was folded in 1/2 when shipped, after 3 months, the Kink never went away and has a major restriction.. Hose would have been great if it was never folded during shipping. Why did they do that?

Product was used as intended to link 2 rain barrels .

It appears to be of really good quality and the fittings are truly well made.

So I linked a couple of rain barrels with this hose.Would have given 5 stars but the kink was bothersome but small clamp on the hose even a plastic clothes pin will work.I drilled the holes at the same height on the barrels and just positioned one to sit lower on the ground.Instructions call for a 1 and 1/16 drill hole.I could find no such bit. I used a 1 inch bit and with it being a hot sunny day I just threaded the fitting into the rain barrel worked great no leaks.

With the proper size hole drilled into the barrel inserting the hose connectors was simple and quick.
