Great for strumming!
These are terrific, everyone in my guitar class that tried them loved them. Don’t slip in your fingers and nice flex, not too flexible or to heavy!

The search is over
I've been on a search for my pick of destiny since I started playing, which has been about 2 years. I've tried a ton of popular choices and various thicknesses and everything time I think "this is the one!", that lasts a few weeks and then I start looking for something else. Or in some cases, I modify what I'm using to get it closer to perfection. I've sanded thicker ones to make them a little thinner. Glued sandpaper to them to give them grip. Cut stripes in them to give grip. Drilled small holes in them to change the flexibility. Well, I picked up a red Dava on at a local music store, because, why not add to my growing collection. I try to stick with a pick for at least a few weeks and I play for around an hour a day. Immediately, the pick felt "interesting". It seemed to check a lot of boxes for me. The grip is very nice since rubber has a unique feel. I like the lines as they give you a good reference point each time you start using the pick. (Although I don't pay much attention to the idea of holding it at a certain line to get a specific amount of flexibility.) But the thing that really grabbed my attention was that you get something you don't normally get with a pick. The end of the pick is stiffer than the middle, so you get a combination of flexibility in the middle and firmness on the end that is difficult to match. When I drilled several small holes in a pick, I got really close to the same feel. The holes I drilled were about the same size as the circles on the Dava, but in a different pattern. The effect is similar, but my hack wasn't as good. The material used in the Dava and the way everything is put together just winds up given a really awesome feeling when held and played. Here's another thing that has driven me away from other picks. I will find one I like and then quickly realize that after I play a few songs that require aggressive strumming that the pick has already started to deteriorate. I don't expect a pick to last forever, but I also don't what to run through picks like crazy. Not to mention, if the pick is changing on you from song to song, I start wondering if those changes are affecting my playing. I'm probably over thinking that but it still... I've been using the same red Dava pick for a month. I can tell it's change a bit, but that's a month of pretty decent playing and the changes are minor, and really welcomed as now I've got a bit of a bevel that is nice. Oh, I should mention that I did try the yellow and the somewhat clear pink ones. The yellow one feels great if you are just strumming as it's more flexible, but for lead playing I prefer the red one. The pink one is ok, but it didn't seem to be wearing consistently and just didn't feel as nice to me as the red one. As for the price, at first I was a little put off but that since I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to a pick that was more expensive than most. But, I'm ok with that based on how great they are and the fact that they seem to last longer than most I've tried. If I had to give one complaint, I wish it had the bevel it gets after playing it for a while, and then not change at all from that. That's probably impossible because if you made a pick that tough, the feel wouldn't be the same on the strings and the flexibility would be drastically different, not to mention you'd probably wear out the strings. For all the above, I'm giving this pick 5 stars. After trying tons of different picks, I'm no longer interested in trying something else. And for me, that's a huge statement as I'm super, uh, picky. (No extra charge for that one.) :)

Good picks
Good grip. Fun to experiment with grip to let the pick flex and stiffen up a bit. Not my favorite for electric guitars but great for acoustics.

Love These Picks
I never liked to use a pick until I tried these. What a difference the grippy part makes! I don’t drop the pick any more. They are not very flexible so I think they are helping with my picking and strumming. I’m just an amateur, playing guitar for fun, and these have added a new level to my playing.

JUST NO COMPARISON!
Absolutely the best picks I've ever owned ever since I started playing 56 years ago and played professionally for 44 years! The cushion grip, the full, fat tone... outstanding! With the rubbery coating there's no plasticy clickety-clackety noise on the strings as with standard plastic picks. Good for strumming or picking. I don't need any other picks ever! Highly recommended!

Its flexible and adaptable !
DAVA picks are the best for flawless every style of play. Only downside is its expensive but worth it. If you play very fast like over 220 bpm then it might take a while to get a handle... but if you are below 180 mark ‼️ You won't feel a difference or hurdle. Alternate or better cheap suggestion would be Dunlop Nylon Grey picks 0.75mm. While, this Dava pack comes with 1mm, 0.75mm and 1.25mm. You only would need a Dunlop Nylon alterative with similar thickness.. 0.75 and 1.00 If you are buying this, you don't have to worry a thing... its better in all regards. The pricing might be high but for the look, feel and design its a pass. Go for it ...and join the selected few.
