Military History

This is THE magazine for anyone with an interest in military history but without an academic bent. You don't need a PhD to enjoy the articles in MH.

As one would expect, Military History has articles on major battles: but it also has articles on lesser known conflicts that had significant impact on the modern world. A timely example in the current issue is an article about Marines and sailors fighting in North Korea. The fighting takes place not in the early 1950's but in 1871. The articles do not get bogged down in details and often go beyond the strategy to provide insight the participants. It is a very fine publication but subscribers should be aware that not all issues available on the newstand are available in the electronic version.

Ok, would like to read more about other countries military history.I'm sure there are a a lot of military histories, besaide american, British or French articules to be read.

I ordered this magazine for my 89 year old dad. He has been at the table for 3 hours now and is really enjoying ready this magazine! Thank you!

Has different stories for different eras.

I have been subscribing over 4 years. One of best, just best, military history magazine.

I have subscribed to military history on and off for nearly 30 years. Always well wrote and on ipad the images are brilliant!
