I can only speak to GM's 3.6L V6 engine (2008-2012 Mailbu).

The front of the V6 faces the passenger side of the engine compartment. This connector is at the top the left cylinder heads, and is basically behind the power steering fluid canister.

Removing the flexible cover over the manifold give a little bit of room to a tight workspace.

Only work on this when the engine is cool!

The "Reduced Power" message is a generic warning. There are many different causes to trigger this fault message. Your best bet is to send it into the shop for diagnostics. There are many reasons for this message to appear. Low coolant, overheating, misfire or some other engine issue (is the engine light on or flashing), the transmission fluid level and its condition, the ABS system (light on?), or the battery, charging system, related wiring, connections, grounds, or a damaged module. Not sure how much you know about cars, if you had the codes read, or if you had the car in for work or service recently. May or may not be related. Wish I could help but I have so many questions. My evap canister was ripped off when my gas tank straps failed. I can't seem to find where the harness is or connects to. Any help on this?

Fuel tank fell down and rip off the vent solenoid wiring, got it. I need to know what this vehicle is to tell you what color wires you are looking for and which harness to crack open to locate those wires. If you're all set, great. If not, please write back.
