Wilton Cookie Cutters Set, 101-Piece — Alphabet, Numbers and Holiday Cookie Cutters

I bought this for myself, but my friend raved about how cool all the shapes were, so I ended buying another as a gift. My idea was to use it not only for cookies, but for cake decorating shapes. You can use them to cut out marzipan, fondant, probably even a thin cake. My friend wanted the larger sizes for cutting out sandwich shapes, which is a great idea. I've used them for both sugar cookies AND cakes. The letters are a little big for the smaller cakes, but you can use them to complement around your cake. It seems to have the major seasonal cutouts, as well as larger and smaller shapes (ie, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Spring, Valentine's Day, some vehicles, and several types of circles), and all the letters and numbers. This kit will NOT meet all your cake decorating needs, however, so be aware of that. It's a great little kit to have around, and easy for kids to use, maybe even with modeling clay, or other craft projects. Because they are plastic, I would advise against using them directly on a pan or on direct heat, so not good for shaping pancakes on the grill. However, once cooked, you could easily use it to cut out shapes from pancakes, french toast, omelettes, etc. It's a great price, and a perfect gift for families with kids!

This is what I always give new parents for their baby shower (if they like to bake). It has a little bit of everything so, from day one , they have special occasions covered. I usually combine this present with a cookie decorating book and a set of frosting tips and accessories (if I really like them, hahaha) so they have everything they need for decorating fun.

I have a daughter that is in the stage that she loves helping cook. We are also responsible for bringing snacks to various school functions and parties. This cutter set is easy to use, safe with no sharp metal edges to catch little fingers, and includes all the shapes we will need to make and decorate cookies, and is perfect for young children. The designs, honestly, are pretty generic and the craftsmanship and quality of the cutters is nothing to write home about. However, I don't anticipate really using cookie cutters a whole lot and the variety this set affords makes it a good value for me, even if some of them don't hold up over time. The whole draw of this kind of cookie, for me, is the process of making and decorating them with my daughter. If you're looking for something a little more durable that offers more unique shapes, this may not be the set for you. The container for the cookie cutters is crap. Mine was broken when it arrived. I taped it all back together and then discovered that I was unable to fit all the cutters back in and get the lid on. I've separated them out by holiday to fit in storage bags, but this makes for bulky and awkward storage. I don't know what the long term solution for storage is going to be. The container is really my biggest complaint. The cutters themselves are pretty much exactly what I expected.

This is a really good set just because of the variety, organization, and price. I was looking for a cookie cutter set that included a little bit of everything and this exceeded my expectations. They feel very durable. Their colors mean different groups- that’s really nice. I needed Halloween right now (and Christmas later) and all I had to do was find the orange (Halloween) and green (Christmas) which took about 30 seconds. Besides those two groups, you also get a Fourth of July (Patriotic) (Dark blue), Easter (yellow), Valentine’s Day (pink), red is different shapes or animals (the dog bone is cute for those who want to make their own home made dog treats!), purple is vehicles like a train or fire truck but other shapes, too and then you have your alphabet and numbers, too (magenta and light blue). These are less than 10 cents each. With that said, you usually do get what you pay for. These are different sizes. Some are really big and some are really small. Some people might not like that. I, how ever, have no problem with it. I think it’s great to have these because it’s such a good variety and the different shapes will last you all year long. But the memories you’ll create by using these- that’s the part that makes the $10 worth it. Perfect and age appropriate for everyone.

Love this!! lots of cookie cutters supplied with package and plenty of variety within those cookie cutters. they are plastic but sturdy been using them to make my daughters lunches to form her sandwiches and been working wonderful cuts right through the bread and meat I would definitely recommend this product to any one looking for a variety of cookie cutters for a good price these are just perfect!!

Super Vielfalt und gute Verarbeitung. + Die Ausstecher sind farblich nach Thema sortiert, so dass man sie leicht finden kann. Mit dabei: Buchstaben, Zahlen, Ostern, Halloween, Weihnachten, Sport, Tiere, Fahrzeuge und ein Mix (Hand, Fuß, Flagge, Cowboyhut/-stiefel). Zudem sind noch Herzen, Kreise und Sterne in verschiedenen Größen enthalten. + Die Ausstechkanten sind scharf genug, dass sie den Teig wirklich durchtrennen, aber nicht so scharf, dass man sich verletzen könnte (also auch gut für Kinder geeignet). + Die Formen sind schön groß, so dass man es nach dem backen noch sehr gut verzieren kann. + Die Ausstecher sind sehr schlicht in der Form und nicht zu filigran, so dass sich der Teig ohne Probleme herauslöst. (-) Die ganz großen Formen (Tannenbaum und Lebkuchenmann und -frau) sind etwas schief - aber bei der Größe auch kein Wunder, dass sich das Plastik etwas verzieht. Für mich kein Problem und man kann sie trotzdem noch gut in den Teig drücken. Fazt: ich bin super zufrieden mit der Ware und würde es jederzeit wieder bestellen!
