PEOPLE WITH SENSITIVE/ACNE PRONE SKIN - this transformed my skin!! seriously, i'm not paid or given anything to write this, i hardly ever write reviews but i would recommend this to anyone. i went overseas and my skin had a weird reaction to the change of climate/food/water, i started breaking out really bad and even after i came home i thought the dark acne marks would never go away - even as they faded over time i thought the pink discoloration would never go away bc my skin is so pale, but after 3 months of using it, my dark spots are COMPLETELY gone, and i almost never get acne anymore, if i do get hormonal acne it'll pop up for about a day and i'll wake up with it gone the next day. i was nervous to use a lotion and almost opted for the gel, but i'm glad i didn't, because i like the bonus hydration and the lotion doesn't break me out at all or leave me feeling oily or gross. i have normal/combination skin though, but i don't think this would be bad for oily skin either, if anything i feel like my moisture levels are more balanced and my skin is less oily after using it. a few things: - for the first few weeks, it stings when you put it on. it was intense for me and i thought it was a reaction because when i washed it off my skin was pink. my face adjusted after 2 weeks (it was less intense by week 2) and i never feel it anymore and my skin doesn't turn pink. - i saw results in the first 2 weeks but it got bad first (purging, like bumps that were under my skin surfaced and then cleared) and then started looking really good, be patient with it! - start out every other night, then do it daily, then twice a day (if you insist) i use it once a day, usually at night because it can leave a slight white residue (which goes away) your skin will adjust fast, you won't see DRAMATIC results until about a month if you have discoloration (takes awhile for your skin to regenerate as the exfoliate works) - i would recommend investing in a good sunscreen if you start using aha. i use cerave SA cleanser (love this cleanser!! $8 at target) to wash my face 1-2 times a day, and i always wash before putting this on. i'm pretty busy so i don't have much else besides cleanser/aha lotion in my routine. at the time my face was clearing up i was pretty broke so i only used those two products, really - i've used bha 8% gels previously and they didn't work for my acne, this did for some reason. i seriously don't have a single zit on my face as i'm typing. i don't even wear foundation!

Okay, I've only had this cream one week but I wanted to give the progress so far. I took some pictures this week to show my skin. I'm going to update it in about 3 weeks - that way it will be a better review but here's what I like so far. 1. The way it makes my skin feel - SO soft - I tried another alpha hydroxy cream for more money and less product and it made my face feel tight and like I had a mask on. 2. It tingles and has dried out some of my skin around my chin- but that's because it's working - you cannot expect better skin without it first exfoliating - I also have been using their liquid soap for a week so that might also be an affect. 3. My complexion looks brighter and lighter - I am NOT a fan of tanned skin - especially when my natural skin color is pale - despite my ignorant attempts as a teenager in Long Island, NY to bake myself - my skin is still pretty decent - about 15 years ago, I was diagnosed with Vitiligo - basically your skin's melanin thinks it's its own enemy and starts to attack itself. Resulting in patches of white skin througout your body. Luckily, this only happened on some parts of my body and NOT my face. But? My face darkened permanently - it looked like I was wearing tanner all year long. I HATED it. I really struggled with this because I once had a "peaches and cream" complexion - seriously, I was told this and took pride in it. So for years, I tried some skin products that claimed to lighten my skin but then I read that they were bad for me internally. So, I stopped, I read skin peels or lasering helped but I felt too poor and too scared to try. I started to read that Vitiligo was related to a compromised immune system and the best way to combat it was through diet, exercise, stress management etc. Okay so long story short - I'm now nearing 50 and except for some slightly darker areas on my face (mostly on the sides of my face hear my eyes and barely noticeable) my complexion is looking really nice again. Healthier eating, exercise, meditating, vitamins etc. have helped. This product though? DEFINITELY is making my skin look smoother and creamier - I am super excited to see how much better it looks in 3 more weeks. 4. The price is awesome - yes, a few reviews state it's overpriced now and or less product for your money but come on...have you seen the prices of AHA's out there? And the quantities? And more importantly do they work? 5. Ialso just ordered their body cream and eye cream - so now I have 4 of their skin care line! If you notice in my pictures - my eyes when I smile have some lines that I would like to soften and hopefully the eye cream will help with that. I'll review that as well in a few weeks. Anyway, I've found the AHA product that works for me - this is it. Thank you so much Alpha Skin Care line. P.S. now if only there was a way to prevent sagging...that's my biggest aging factor - I've tried some videos online to combat it but haven't stuck with them - please contact me here if you have any suggestions. Has a nice, creamy consistency. Smell is very minimal and fades quickly. I'm probably on my 3rd bottle now.

This is one of the few amazing miracle cures I have stumbled on in my life. It has been my default/primary face and neck lotion since the first few days I used it and that was 9 years ago (when I was 41 years old). It eliminated some age discoloration I was developing on the sides of my face *within 2 days*. My facial skin remains age spot free and is still more evenly textured (at 50 years old) than it was before I started using Neoteric's 10% Glycolic Lotion{2}. It leaves my skin smoother, firmer, and I have less random zits. If I slack on skin care, when I use it again, my skin is noticeably brighter and smoother in tone within a day. Now for the miracle part: I have keratosis pilaris and my battle with dead skin exfoliation on my face ended with this lotion. For those that do not have keratosis pilaris{1}, please realize that no amount of scrubbing with buff puffs, ground almonds, or other abrasives; no amount of drinking water, slathering hydrating lotion, or other 'your skin looks dry' solutions; no amount of oatmeal, pumpkin, cucumber, dead sea muds, or other masks; and no amount of salicylic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, or other 'skin sloughing' chemicals (non-prescription only) eliminated the nightmarish daily struggle of trying to remove dead skin without damaging my face. I struggled for 25 years and suddenly, the battle ended. Miracle. It is a medium heavy lotion, but spreads well, though it does not absorb very quickly. It is too heavy to wear under makeup, but I often go without base and use just a few pats of powder (yes, still have those oily zones) and yes, my skin tone is good enough that I can get away with eye-shadow, mascara, and lipstick and no base. I think of it as a treatment rather than an under-makeup day lotion. There probably are other products out there that work this well, but not at this price. No La Mer for me. I am not rich. {1} I do not know if everyone with keratosis pilaris (KP) experiences this facial skin problem. Every resource on KP I have found only addresses the chicken skin factor. Both my daughters have KP and the facial skin exfoliation problem as well. {2} I am told I look 40-ish, which I credit to this lotion primarily. I will try to submit a sans makeup picture.

I been using healthy skin face lotion with SPF 15 from Neutrogena for over 18 some years (in the big 2.5oz bottle. All the other product from them do not work well. They sure did not do A good thing, taking this product off the market). People think I am in my 40ties but I will be 61 this year. This face creme even got rid of pimples and blackheads. Now Neutrogena taking it off the market left me with no face creme. I still used Sulwhasoo, but can not use it every day, because it will give me black heads too. I only use them maybe twice a week. I was frantically looking for an every morning and night replacement. I tried multiple face creme, and they all gave me black heads and pimples, like I am in puberty. Terrible. Now I found Alpha Skin care and been using it for almost a month, and it is working for me. I am so glad that it did not give me blackheads and pimples like other face creme I tried out. I can feel it tightening my skin, and actually working, slightly tingling, just like I was used to from my skin creme I used for all those years. I believe I finely found an replacement: Alpha Essential Renewal Lotion with 10% Glycolic AHA. I would had given a 5 out of 5 stars, but had to take a star off, because of the terrible bottle. I have Arthritis in my hands and a big problem squeezing the bottle. Terrible design. I wish they would put the creme in a pump bottle or in a jar. PLEASE change the bottle design. I would easily give a 5 out of 5. Highly recommend this creme.

This lotion works well. Good value for the amount.

I started using this product on April 14th, and for the first 2 or 3 weeks my face was burning, patchy, and a mess. I jumped straight into using this twice a day without testing it first because I was extremely desperate to find a cure to my acne and scars. I've been a long time sufferer of acne, but when it wasn't until I was 19 and then 20 that it intensified. It started leaving some pitted scars and hyperpigmentation so even when the acne healed, my skin didn't. I've tried numerous products, but I can happily say this is the greatest yet. Now that I've been using it for almost 4 months, my skin texture is better, my acne has slowed down significantly (this month I've only had about 3-4 vs. my usual 20+ :D And they healed super fast with little hyperpigmentation!), and my scars are fading. (with the extra help of ambi's fade cream for normal skin) My skin care regimen is as follows: Wash with Olay Revitalizing Foaming Face Wash, follow with Alpha Hydrox 10% Lotion (Now Alpha Skin Care in the 4fl. oz. bottle!), then I moisturize with Olay's Complete All Day Complete Moisturizer with SPF 15, then I use Ambi Fade Cream for normal skin on my hyperpigmentation. I do all of these 2 times a day and it's truly changing my skin for the better. I've wasted so much money on products that didn't work and I've finally found what works for me and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results so far. I can't wait for 100% clear skin and I'm fairly certain I'll get there now with this magic in a bottle! :D Don't be fooled by the extreme pricing now though! It's under a different name and new style bottle. :) Search for Alpha Skin Care 10% and you'll find the exact same product in new packaging for way less. :) Still on the expensive side but definitely worth it. :) Remember to be patient! 100/10 stars! (and I paid full price for this product, no discounts, no fake reviews. I'm so happy about this and I'm even happier to write about my results. Take the chance! It's worth it! :D)

Great feeling cream

It's a strong product, so if you have sensitive skin or just new to start using it, do it once in 2-3 days to get your skin get used to the product. I can see my skin brightened in just a few applications. Overall, I love this product.

This is my first time trying this cream. At first you will notice your face tingle, but that’s normal. After just several days of use, I noticed that my skin seems a bit tighter, which is good considering I’m in my 40s now and trying to take care of my face as best as I can.
