Gefen Organic Red Beets, Whole, Peeled, Cooked & Ready to Eat, 1.1lb (3 Pack)

This was my first experience w/BEETS! Recommended in a wellness class I’m involved with, I received my first pack as a trial gift from a colleague. I loved the beets so much (saute’d them but others use in smoothies) that I ordered the 3 pack! Very nice product, beets are cooked/peeled/ easy to use and taste is delicious. Individual Package contains about 4 nice sized whole beets & once opened needs to be refrigerated. Ease & convenience are a positive & like that they are organic & very healthy for you! Great product!

These are so YUMMY! Cooked and peeled, and organic! So delicious sliced and warmed in butter, eaten out of the bag, or used in a simple pickled beet salad (recipe on the box). My husband has always disliked beets, but he likes these. Beets are so great nutritionally speaking. This is a great way to increase our vegetable variety. Win!

They ARE organic cooked whole and peeled ! Very tasty and consistently of good quality. And convenient!

These beets are easy to prepare....just open and dump into a bowl. I usually slice or dice them. The only thing wrong is that there is very little juice, but I find if they sit for a while with half a cup of water on them the juice will draw out of the beets. Still very little to use for pickled eggs, but by dissolving powered beet in hot water I can get more liquid. Still not much work involved. The flavor is just that of earthy beets. The price is affordable, compared to the cost of four beets in a grocery. The convenience can't be beet (pun intended). :) The only reason for one dropped star is that I have occasionally gotten a bad beet in a package....or a beet with a pretty bad spot on it that I have to discard. Only now-and-then, though and this is not enough of a problem to make me stop purchasing this product.

Excellent taste really enjoy these beets. No issues with packaging or quality. Quick easy to prepare.

Fantastic product. My only complaint is the expiration date. They expire in 3 months, so if you’re planning ahead and enjoy having several staples on hand, you’ll want canned, rather than these. These beets are great with yogurt, cottage cheese, other fruits, salads, heated or unheated. Very convenient.

Love these beets. They're pricey but aren't full of salt like the canned ones. They taste much fresher.

I add one of these beets to my smoothy every day. They're ready to eat and only need refrigeration once a bag (there are three bags per box) is opened. Beets are healthy, so I like this convenient way to get them, cooked and ready to put in a salad or smoothy. But this same box at Costco is six and a half dollars. Yes, you read that right. Here, it's an outrageous twenty dollars - more than three times as much. I bought them here once when Costco didn't have them, and I had forgotten how cheap they were there. Costco got them again and has them now. So: good product, terrible price.
