I’ve been using the LEDVANCE SMART+ ORBISPLUS panel in my home office for about three months now and it has quietly become one of the most useful things in the room. At first I was skeptical about smart lighting but this one won me over simply by being easy and reliable. The panel is 30 by 30 centimeters and fits neatly into the ceiling mount I already had. Installation was straightforward. It connects directly to WiFi so no extra hub is needed which I appreciate. I connected it through the LEDVANCE SMART+ app on my phone and it took less than ten minutes. The app itself is simple with clear options for brightness and color temperature. I expected something clunky but it runs smoothly on both my Android phone and tablet. What I like most is the range of light it offers. In the morning I set it to 6500K which feels crisp and awake. It helps me focus when working on deadlines. By evening I shift it to 3000K and the room becomes calm. It is like having two different lights in one. I don’t use scenes or schedules much but the option is there if I want it. Voice control works well too. I use Google Assistant and saying “Hey Google turn on the office light” never feels old. I can also ask to dim it or change the tone and it responds without delay. I thought voice control would be a gimmick but it’s actually useful when your hands are full or you’re too comfortable to reach for your phone. It’s bright without being harsh. The light spreads evenly across the room and there’s no flickering or buzzing. I’ve noticed it uses very little power and runs cool even after hours of use. It’s clear this is built with newer LED tech and it shows in how smoothly it operates. Some smart devices feel fragile or overly technical but this one feels like a regular light fixture that just happens to be smart. It doesn’t draw attention to itself. It does its job and stays out of the way. The only downside is the app could use a few more customization options but for basic control it’s more than enough. Also make sure your phone meets the minimum system requirements or you might have trouble installing it. Overall I’m glad I bought it. It improved my workspace without complicating things. It just works and that’s rare with smart home gadgets. If you want lighting that adapts to your day without drama this one is worth considering.

The Ledvance Smart LED panel luminaire with wi-Fi technology has an IP 20 rating. This is a class to appliance which means that you only have to have the liv and neutral wires connected. The LED panel is quick and easy to wire and install. There is two screws that have to be on done to release the fixing bracket, And in the box there is a pack of raw plugs and screws for The installation bracket. You will have to download the Ledvance Smart plus Wi-Fi app to set up and operate the smart panel, When you first power on the smart LED panel it will flash to indicate it is ready for connection to the smart app and your Internet. The app is easy to navigate and you just have to follow on screen instructions, And you will need your Wi-Fi password to enter into the app so that you can be connected. Once in the app you can give this LED panel a specific name to easily control with your assistant, When you have enabled and linked the skill for the Amazon Alexa or Google assistant devices. The smart panel can go from 3000 to 6500 K which is approximately 1500 lm according to the box. What a great light. so cool to look at and works a treat. so east to put together, instructions in the box. This is lovely and well worth the price. You wont be disappointed. I have mine connected to Alexa and she controls it. its so nice.

As with the other Ledvance light, I thought I had an empty box when I opened the amazon package as this is very very light. I was surprised at how little weight there was in the box, but its basically all plastic and LEDs. Installation is very simple with just positive and negative and mounting the bracket to the ceiling. Setup is the same with all Ledvance products, simple and easy but the app could do with a little bit of work. Its just not as intuitive as some of the others I have used. Overall a good product, pricey, but I think its worth it.

My kitchen has always been a hard room to light, too dim and dull so try a brighter bulb and then it’s too overpowering. Now at long last the kitchen is well lit in every area ,the light is bright without being stark, the colour cast is a warmish white, not blinding and not yellow, there are no dark corners and at last I can see when I’m cooking without shadows. There is no flicker and the kitchen is now comfortable to be in for long periods of time. The 30cm square light is robust and features no outer frame. and the connector block was very small and fiddly to be able to install easily, so removed this and fitting an alternative one. I love that this can be set to whatever White hue you like via app, or to ask smart devices such as Alexa, to set the light brightness and the colour of white just by asking her.
