Huge upgrade from cheap PVC valves
Our solar company installed cheap PVC valves that the sun destroyed within 3 years. I bought these when I re-plumbed the solar panels in. These are solid and will last much longer than the cheap valves. They are built really good, but I did take them apart and added some lube to the mechanism just to be safe.

So far so good?
I had an issue with one of them that there was a hunk of plastic missing from where the screw holds the two pieces together. Also, I seem to have a problem where once a month I need to go outside and turn the screws like a 16th of a turn as the Texas heat seems to be backing the screws out a little bit. This causes the seal to leak in the slightest drip.
