Christmas Extra for Dad
My dad is in his 70s and still uses a huge glass percolator to make his coffee each day. I don't even think his percolator is the original - so many pieces of it have broken and my mom has thrifted replacement parts for the past 30 or so years! But dad insists that coffee tastes best with it, which requires special filters. He was recently grocery shopping with me and picked up a pack of these filters, then set them down again because they 'might be cheaper elsewhere.' I came home and immediately hopped onto Amazon - yep - these filters are priced much better here. They're good filters; I've used them in a Coleman metal percolator for camp. No coffee ground escape. Don't discount giving these as a gift for older people like my dad - sometimes 'every day' things feel like luxuries for older people, and they often don't want to be given a lot of 'stuff' that someone will have to purge one day when they're gone.

Works as described
Works as described, make sure you poke the center hole out completely or they tear easily when inserting

Truly a must for a percolator
These are a must and the best if you have a percolator! Coffee grounds never seep in the coffee with these filters! Truly the best!

Easy Cleanup
Solved the problem of coffee grounds getting in coffee and made cleanup super easy. Even makes the coffee taste better.

Good results, but not easy to use
I don't write a lot of product reviews, but I felt I should in this case to help anyone considering this purchase. I enjoy perked coffee, but I do hate having grounds in my coffee. I have used the Melita disk filters in the past and been generally satisfied, but grounds can get into the coffee. Yet, the disks are VERY easy to use. The wrap around filters are not so easy, though I finally am getting the hang of it. What you don't see in the photos of the product in their wrapper is that these are square. There is a center hole that you put over the stem, then you gently push the filter down into the basket. This takes some practice to get the filter sufficiently down to create the area into which you can put your coffee. The package instructions make it sound easy, but I have not found it so. Once you put in your coffee, you fold over the corners, each of which has a hole to go over the stem as well. Since it is square and the basket is round, it takes a little practice to get all the paper in and find the holes in the corners. Once done, however, it does become like a filter pack. Your basket will come out much cleaner, there is less oil from the coffee on the basket which aids in cleanup, and I generally do not have grounds in my coffee (when I do, I believe it is due to coffee entering the stem while trying to put the coffee into the filter.) So my bottom line is I may buy this product again once i run out. I just wanted buyers to be aware that the use is not entirely easy in case that makes a difference in the buyer's ultimate decision.

They work
These coffee filters work. They are difficult to get in the basket and fold over but, once you get the hang of it, you are good to go.

Hard to install (first time)
Donโt get me wrong this is a good product. But trying to find the holes to mount the filter takes a magnifying glass. This is for a percolator and once in place works quite well.
