ADATA UV131 32GB USB 3.0 Metallic Texture & Easy-to-go Flash Drive, Grey (AUV131-32G-RGY)

I have bent every USB drive I have ever owned. To remedy that, I bought these. All metallic construction, these are made for the roughness your keys go through on a daily basis. Mine stays on my keychain. It's so small, I almost forget it's there but when I need it, I'm glad it's there. It is USB 3.0 and 16GB. It arrived fast and pre formatted to NTFS. Awesome thing about these for media files is that if you play files from these for a long period of time, the metal dissipates the heat fast compared to other plastic constructed USB drives. They are chic looking as well. Form meets function, on a budget.

small, fits on a keychain without being bulky, and works as advertised. 4 stars and not 5 for initial use problem - it was a really tight fit at first to plug in. almost thought I wasn't going to be able to use it at first but then had to use a bit of force to properly seat it. after that it's worked fine.

Simple USB memory sticks. Work great, good speeds.

Works great, seems fast and reliable. Light weight, barely feel it on my lanyard. Quality construction. The only downside is that it tarnishes very quickly. I have a key shaped, silver usb drive from a different manufacturer on the same lanyard. On day one, they were just about the same shade of silver. Weeks later, the key shaped drive looks like new, while the ADATA unit looks like very tarnished pewter. I actually like the look, but people who bought it for appearance may be disappointed. I'd buy again, but the tarnish doesn't bother me. Update: 1/19/2016 Well, this drive started to give me occasional problems a few months ago, where it would suddenly stop being recognized by Windows as a valid drive. I tried multiple usb 3.0 ports and it just will occasionally drop out. Tonight, this problem became severe, as I can't use the drive for more than 5-10 minutes, often less. Luckily, I purchased an even small, more tarnish resistant drive from Transcend a few months ago and was using it as a backup to this drive, in case it finally quit on me. I've inspected the connectors and there is no issue I can see. I've tried plugging it in firmly, no change. I noticed that the drive seems to be getting very hot after a few minutes of file transfers, the smaller Transcend drive does not show any heat issues. I'm wondering if there might not be some sort of short or other issue causing this thumb drive to overheat? Not really worth pursuing warranty service at this point, time to trash it and move on. I would no longer recommend this drive.

I've had this on my keychain for almost a year now and it is still going strong. Very impressed with its durability.

Garbage! Became unusable after re-formatting them. Had to trash them. Never buying ADATA products again.

Worked just like any other flash drive for a month and is nice and compact - feels solidly constructed. But stopped working today (5 weeks after purchase - lost data) and will not format on any computer we own.

Heavy duty flash drive, feels solid

Adquirí esta memoria flash porque había perdido mi anterior, la elegí por tener tecnología 3.0 y el color es muy original. Me gustó mucho el modelo y tiene su orificio para poder colgarlo junto con mis llaves y así no perderlo de nuevo. Bueno, bonito y me salió muy barato. Lo recomiendo.
