This rod is designed specifically to clean and maintain the military issue M203 grenade launcher and 37mm variants. Review: Just the right tool for the job. - I have a 37mm launcher that I primarily shoot wildlife control rounds, fireworks,flares, and smoke rounds. These loads primarily use black powder for a lift charge which shoots VERY dirty as compared to modern smokeless powder. This brass brush (along with the mop that I bought) works great at cleaning my launcher tube which is otherwise near impossible to clean adequately. Review: Worked on 37mm flare launcher - Worked well to clean 37mm flare launcher. Tight fit initially, and worked well to clean fouling. Good product.

It’s a brush, does it’s job
Very tight is 37mm bore , but it gets the job done.

Poor quality of construction
The twisted wire shaft is only held in the base by a crimp. It came out of the base after the first use. Materials look good but the quality of construction is poor. I would not recommend this to anyone.
