Precision II Digital Bathroom Scale (440 lbs Capacity), with Weight Change Detection Technology & StepOn Activation

My wife recently purchased a set of scales which operates on the basis of a revolving dial - which turned out to be useless. The dial numbers and divisions were so small that binoculars should have been included in the package, and the reading oscillated violently with every small tremor. So, picture me - bent double to get closer to the dial, teetering now on tiptoe and now set back on the heels - with a weight variance up to 8 lbs (or was it stones?)And they looked naff too. So, did my research, and happened on these Ozeri scales, which enjoyed pretty positive reviews. They were also being discounted, so ordered them the other afternoon and they arrived next morning - regrettably after, rather than before, a heavy breakfast. Still, an 18 hour lead-time is pretty impressive. As some others have discovered, the included batteries are well tucked away, and I spent a foolish half hour scouring the house for some, disembowelling two clocks and three radios in the search - to no effect given that all mine are AA. The wife, with weary foreknowledge, then asked whether I had properly checked the packaging - and I, with equally weary certainty that I hadn't, did so. Of course there they were, and neatly ensconced within seconds. These scales certainly look the part - sleek, solid, low-slung and sporty. Oh, and blue backlighting with HUGE digits!They're the sort of scales which you know will be accommodating and polite; they might even give a bit of a discount if you're gentle about the way you settle in place. And you know to an utter certainty that if they could speak, it would be with Joanna Lumley's sexy, crisp, precise tones. In action, they're similarly cool and clinical - "this is your weight - you're 14st 2lbs today.No, no discounts, and it's not going to waver even if you do suck in that sagging gut, lean back, tip forward, or think lite thoughts. You can step off - but the numbers will remain etched not only on your conscience, but also - for a while - on the screen. You can try again - but we're talking automatic calibration here, and you'll be the same 14st 2lbs however many times you try. Now - what are you going to do about it?" So, fast delivery, great looks, great functionality, under the £20 mark, and a follow-up enquiry by Matt at Ozeri to check that all's well with the product. What more could a fat man ask for?

Balance très simple et efficace. Le code couleur est très sympa (il faut attendre quelques secondes pour que ça s'affiche) et motive bien pour "faire des efforts". Je suis très contente de cet achat, pour une fois une balance pas trop farfelue, mais qui fonctionne parfaitement.

Avevo bisogno di una bilancia semplice, chiara, ma soprattutto precisa. Sembra sia una cosa scontata per un articolo di questo tipo, ma non lo è affatto. Le bilance che ho avuto in precedenza (bilance molto più costose e tecnicamente più "sofisticate" di questa) tra una pesata e l'altra, anche a distanza di pochi secondi/minuti, mi davano pesi diversi (molti etti di differenza). Finalmente ho trovato quella giusta! Questa bilacia, oltre ad essere semplicissima da usare e con un displey abbastanza grande da mostrarmi con estrema chiarezza il peso, è anche molto precisa. Posso scendere e risalire per 5 volte di seguito e mi darà sempre lo stesso e identico peso. Inoltre ha anche un design molto bello ed elegante, sta bene in qualsiasi stanza (certo, eviterei di metterla in cucina o nel salone). Una nota a favore anche per il venditore, che il giorno dopo il mio ordine, mi ha mandato tramite e-mail, le istruzioni in italiano.

UPDATE AFTER MONTS OF USE: updated on October 2, 2021 ================================= ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! Here is what is my experience after few months of use = I absolutely love the huge display, the bright easy readable digits that I can see without any effort. No need for glasses, no need to turn on the light in the ambient room or even dark bathroom as you can see easily the digits. = The colors! I love the colors of different display. When you step on the scale and it is doing your current weight reading - it displays the LCD in BLUE! .. stay on the scale and wait till it blinks three times.. then get off.. and now watch the magic happen.. if you gained a pound or even a fraction of the pound,, it will show you in red that amount.. example.. +2lbs or + 15 lbs.. or + 0.2 lbs.. or + 0.8 etc.. but if you lost the weight.. it will show you the exact amount with the green background... yey! so minus 0.2lbs.. or be it 2 lbs or what have you.. It is easy to check.. just step on the weight fully dressed, then get off.. and then step on undressed.. and it will show you how much less do you weight. Fun. = So easy to keep clean. It is sleek and gorgeous and just dusting and wipe with wet towel or touch of vinegar does the trick entirely. = I love that you don't have to double deep it so to speak to get the weight.. I used to have wonderful high end Sharper Image scale but you had to wake it up with a foot before stepping on the scale first.. wait for 888..wait for 0.0 and only then you could step on it once it calibrated itself every single time. with this scale NO NEED TO WAIT>> you just STEP ON IT and get the reading within few seconds... = easy to use.. here are the steps to weight yourself 1. step on the scale (no need to wake it up by touching with your foot like other scales) 2. the scale wakes up instantly and shows the blue display and is calculating.. within few seconds.. maybe 3 to 5 you got the reading. Don't move while it is reading.. the scale displays your actual current waight. 3. Now you got two options.. a) you can gt off of it and it will keep the numbers for you for quite some time so you can take a good look at your success.. and then after some time it will turn off automatically as in.. the display will go dark.. and it goes to sleep.. b) when you step on the scale you can stay there for few more seconds .. and the scale will blink THREE TIMES.. stay still.. and let it blink.. once it will blink and goes steady again.. step off the scale and marvel.. now you see if your weight changed from the last time you stepped on it.. If it display red and a number - you gained that much if it displays green and a number - you lost that much. It is absolutely perfect and great motivator because seeing that difference even in 0.2 parts of the lb... that you lost makes you want to loose even more as every oz counts. Love it and came to get another one for the second level so I can motivate myself before visiting the kitchen :) I really love it, it is beautiful, nicer then in pictures. Pleasure to stand on it as it is not small, it is very roomy and accommodating. The light is so bright you can easily see it and it is beautiful color and brightness. It is very accurate. It goes by 2 oz. increments so very good idea even if you eat small portion it immediately shows you in the reading. Looks really nice in the bathroom. Very happy with it easy to clean easy to read very accurate very easy to use, just installed batteries and step on. you don't have to tap it before you stand on it, it reads instantly, just step on it and it activates and gives you the reading yes, awesome and magical. I lost already 5 lbs. just because I love to stand and read it so often. YEY!
