The Coconut Shell Bed Is My Parakeet’s Favorite!
At first my parakeet didn’t know what to think of his new coconut shell bed. For a week he only looked at it. Next he started chewing on his bed, climbing in & out. Climbing on top to reach his shredding toy. He pulls the ropes from his nearby rope climb & tries to stuff ropes into his bed! Adorable. Piper has yet to sleep in his bed. He loves to ring the bell & chew on soft, fabric liner. He thinks his bed is a toy. This coconut shell bed is very sturdy & well made. It’s by far my parakeet’s favorite toy. I Highly Recommend This Fantastic Bed. Comes in a 2 pack. Great quality. So happy I bought this item. Keeps Piper happy & Engaged All Day Long!

Great for budgies!
Our budgies LOVE these! We don’t let them have the fluffy inserts (not sure that’s safe) but they love to get in the coconuts and scrape the walls. It’s fun for them and helps with their beak maintenance too.

These are great for birds that aren’t mating. They will for sure tear up the cushion . However, as a place for your birds to hang out, they could work. But I got them for nesting options. They’re cute, solid and well made. Just didn’t work
