A lovely tea, but look elsewhere for lattes.
A lovely subtle flavor that is ready in minutes. You're not going to get an opaque "matcha latte" drink out of this, but that's not the point here. For a frothy creamy beverage try matcha powder of higher grades. This is a selection of quality, well cared for leaves in pouches. The aroma is floral without being vegetal or cloying, the resulting tea is transparent with a tint like amber. It brews a smooth and fragrant tea, with a lovely calming taste like a spring day and freshly tended lawn.

tastes better than others
I have tried many green teas; this one tastes better than most others. I like the bags and the packaging as well. They are sturdy so easy to travel with if you want to throw it in your bag.

bad quality matcha but nice jasmine flavor
I buy Ito's matcha and genmaicha ( the box in Japanese, not the one in English) at least 2 times a month. I'm obsessed with it. My daughter loves jasmine tea and matcha so I decided to buy her this one to try out. Unfortunately, the quality of matcha is not good( not vibrant green like it is in their matcha genmaicha they sell in Japan). This matcha quality issue I noticed on the Matcha genmaicha tea that has English on the box, aka the tea they market and sell outside of Japan. If you don't mind the matcha not being good and are going more for the jasmine flavor, you probably will like this tea.

Fragrant tea
I wish I noticed this product sooner. I’ve only known of the green tea version before this. The jasmine version tastes almost the same but more fragrant. It feels even better than the normal version - makes me happy.
