Because it is plastic is it still ok to use a heater underneath?

If it's for hermits, you wouldnt put the heater under anyway. It needs to be above the sand line. These are great for other animals, just not hermits

The terrarium is 14" long by 8" deep by 10" high. My measurements are a little generous. It has a vented, removable lid and a portion of the lid can be lifted for easy access.

Can I use this as a feeding cage for a 3 foot Royal Python?

No this is too small for that. Your snake may grab itself of get it by the mouse

can you put lady bugs in it?

I don’t see why not. We use it for crickets (our chameleon food).
