Great
used 2 so far and they worked great. The spring is strong but the switch activates with very little stroke so keep it set back from the door etc.

Compact
I needed a small switch to put a light in a cabinet. This worked pretty well. Molly was OK and sometimes when the door was open, the light switch would be stuck, but it seems to get better after time.

Works pretty well.
I used these inside and armoire to trigger some LED lighting when opened. Worked like a charm. I am going to use the excess ones to pantry lighting. Simple to install and the button doesn't have a lot of resistance so it shouldn't require pushing much on the door to close it. TIPS. Dry fit or hold the switch in place to test and see how it will 'hit' the closing door. If you mount it on shelf, try to mount it on the underside so it won't get in the way of using the shelf and you can hide the wires better. Try to solder the wire you insert in the back of this switch. You will need a small, jeweler's type Philips screwdriver for the wire terminals. I used 22AWG wire with my project and it worked well. Good Luck

Exactly what I needed!
I needed a switch to mount in line with the closet lights, so they turned on when the door opened. This model of switch worked perfectly. The stem has a fairly long throw but disengages immediately so there wasn't any fiddling with the depth of mount to make sure it works. If the switch is compressed by as little as 1/16th of an inch, it opens the circuit. Perfect for my needs and I'm glad I have extras to add to my electrical supplies box.

Pefect for my application
I put these in 2 closets in my house to turn on sets of COB LEDs for even illumination and they work perfectly. Before you mount htem permanently, make sue you hold the in place to see if they are correctly positioned, then mark the screw holes for mounting. Bingo! You've got lights that trun on when you open your doors. I'm going to buy more for my new house.

Looking for 110 volt application? Look elsewhere..
Seems well built for the price, strong spring action and solid connectors. But had two fail operating a single light bulb in the first few weeks of installation. Might be great for low voltage applications, so keeping for that reason. But looking elsewhere for 110 volt applications.
