This product is extremely good for sticking statues or figures down. I use this on my hot toys collection to stop them from falling over. Only thing I didn’t like is it’s more like a glue than a putty. But overall good product

When you want to keep something in place, fairly securely, these are great Especially in places where there is potential for bumping, this product has worked well for me. Don't be shy, and use a decent sized blob, and really squish what you are mounting to the surface. You may need to warm up the wax in your hand first, or at least get it to room temperature When you want to remove, it's not the easiest to clean, but not impossible. I just use some dirty rags, and throw them away after

I studied ceramics in college and I’ve admittedly, lost a fair enough number of pieces to seek a solution to my problem. Bring on museum wax! Since I have purchased this, I have used it to stick down my more unstable Funko Pop toys, fasten some plastic containers onto a shelf close to my armrest, and even hold some spacers against my wall so my TV can have a beautiful backlight! And that’s not even counting the reason I bought it, holding pottery in place. And now, about the product. When you buy it, it is thick like wax, almost like you’d never believe it will be soft. Using the diamond shaped scoop though, you quickly realize that it is quite pliable, with a bit of a sticky feeling against the hand. Once you apply it, depending on how much clearance there is, you will enjoy varying results—more contact with the base of the object will mean the item is more likely to stay put. So if you have a favorite piece of pottery you’d like to display, make sure to apply the wax to the foot of your piece rather than the center of the piece, as it will certainly not make it cat/bump proof, but simply make it slide resistant. Color-wise, it is semitransparent, but not really as clear as perhaps a superglue. That said, the removable quality makes the compromise worth…besides, it will generally be on the piece of your object that will not be seen. I haven’t had to remove it from the places I’ve used it, but I can already tell I feel comfortable with removing it from the objects I have placed it on and for the most part, the surfaces I am sticking it to are going to be able to handle removal effortlessly, unlike other simple application options like hot glue, which would certainly end up taking off parts of the wood shelving I set it on. And for what you truly end up using, short of a gallery setting, antique shop, or hoarder home, you’re going to have this stuff for the rest of your life—great value for money!
