Duracell DL2032 Lithium Coin Battery, 2032 Size, 3V, 230mAh Capacity Pack of 12

This review is for the bulk pack. I am always careful when I buy batteries online as I have had some bad experiences like others have had with bad batteries or counterfeits. In this case, I bought these direct from Amazon as I needed to replace some car remote batteries. I have previously purchased the Energizer brand, which are ok, but I like Duracell batteries better as the batteries seem to last longer when used and when not being used. Even when I purchased direct from AMZ, I look for signs to show me that these are the genuine ones. The batteries are made in China, like most batteries these days. The best thing I like about Duracells, unlike the Energizers, is that they always have an expiration date, in my case 2032. Genuine packaging looks pretty similar to what is posted in the page, which the exception of the expiration date that is in the right bottom corner. In addition, the packaging has a cardboard backing, but in addition to that, the batteries are sealed in their own plastic covering that I had to use scissors to open, even after tearing the cardboard as well as a sticker covering the back of the battery. The batteries themselves are marked on the top with the Duracell brand, model DL/CR2032, says made in China and has a symbol that to me looks like a do not feed to the mermaid logo. As far as I can tell these are genuine batteries. I decided to get the bulk packaging as I have been going through the 4 packs pretty quickly and they are cheaper in bulk. I have no issues with the batteries but I will update my review if I have any long-term durability issues with the battery. I expect these to last for quite a long time in my car remote. My only real complaint with the batteries is that they tend to be more expensive than the other brands, however, they are reliable and tend to last longer than most other brands. 5 stars

It's always a good idea to have extra 2032 coin-style batteries around! I bought more than I needed at the time and they are still in great working order even after many of them have been stored in the garage for more than 3 years. And just check out the "best buy" date on my latest batch – they're good through May 2033! Because you don't have to replace these very often, it's easy to overlook the fact that they are all around you – in computer motherboards, key fobs, garage door opener, watches, calculators, toys, games, door chimes, LED remotes, and so much more. I've purchased this product numerous times over the last several years and the packaging does tend to vary but overall they're the same high quality batteries each time. I can also appreciate that these batteries now have a bitter taste so kids will be less likely to put them in their mouths. All in all, this is a solid purchase you can count on.
