Quick powerful low cost brews
Awesome stuff, 3 teaspoons can turn 2 litres of supermarket OJ and 500g of caster sugar into 2 litres of 20% faux vodka and orange-alike in 10 days ( it does taste better if you leave it a little longer to settle out). So for the princely sum of around £3.50, it means you or you and a mate can get pretty 'happy' for less than the cost of a pint at the local. It tastes great over ice on a hot day and may even count as one if your 5 a day! Experiment with different juices and flavours (pineapple juice works well but is a bit lively in the ferment!!!!). I'd rate 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended to start a new low cost fun hobby that you can share.
