Amazon Basics Executive Home Office Desk Chair with Padded Armrests, Adjustable Height and Tilt, Rolling Swivel Chair, 275 Pound Capacity, Brown and Gold

My son LOVES this desk chair. He has a drafting table to draw and do schoolwork on, and this provides him a comfortable chair to work in. It is sturdy and easy to clean. It does not fold, but it does roll easily. It was VERY EASY to put together. We were also pleased with the price. He will be able to use it for years to come.

When I was a boy, my first office chair that I used for PC and laptop work growing up was this chair. This was back before 2010 so it likely wasn't under the Amazon Basics brand but it was the exact same chair design. I've used that chair my entire life really and only had to buy this chair as a replacement as the leather started peeling significantly on my old chair after over 20 years of use. Even though the leather was heavily peeled, my old chair was still extremely comfortable and I would've kept on using it had I not gotten annoyed with having to pick up leather bits and pieces everyday from the peeling. I bought this chair as a replacement and the comfort is still as I remembered. No lower back pain, no butt numbness, no arm numbness, truly such a masterpiece of a chair where it lets you focus on the task at hand instead of focusing on the chair. Before I rebought this chair, I've bought & tried the Secretlab Titan Evo Nanogen, Furmax executive office chair, Neo executive office chair, RS high back gaming chair w/ flip-up armrests, Bestfair high-back office chair, FDW executive office chair, Herman Miller Aeron, and OFIKA executive office chair in search of a potential "upgrade" - every single one of these other chairs was inferior to the Amazon Basics high back office chair in one way or the other. The only thing I will note is that the pneumatic gas cylinder of the Amazon Basics office chair seems to be different from my original chair - it goes higher and has a higher minimum seat height. If you would like to perfectly replicate the original lower seat depth you will have to buy the S6124 extra short office chair gas lift cylinder from ChairPartsOnline - my only nitpick about such a phenomenal chair. In my attached picture I have the Amazon Basics chair w/ S6124 gas cylinder on the right next to the Furmax high-back office chair which although inferior is what I consider to be the 2nd best chair if for some reason you cannot get the Amazon Basics high-back office chair. To sum it up - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CHAIR!!!

I cannot be happier with this chair! Amazing quality, snug and comfy, and it rolls super smoothly! I absolutely love it . It took my brother in law 10-15 mins to build . Highly recommend !!

Ok. I get it. I was skeptical about the reviews or quality or durability (I guess that’s pending). I just put it together and did a good gaming session. 1) it’s fairly heavy duty 2) it’s so comfortable I forgot about it 3) beats any “gaming” chair I’ve ever owned 4) everything works (piston, rock) So yeah. Pretty legit.

I have only had the chair a few hours now so this review is of first impression and details. I usually wait to do reviews but choose to on this one. Things I noticed that maybe important to others as information: If you are a tall person you may want to measure your height and etc. I am 5' 6" Tall 175lbs. and this chair is perfect size for me. it does have some room 20" max width from arm rest to arm rest. seat is 19" deep from back to front, Back Height from seat is 26" to top (Will be a little more height when sat on) but this being said the top of my head is just perfectly at the top of the head rest height. Putting it together is a breeze and anyone could put this together, Everything's Labeled to fit the instructions, packaged well. Took me about 10 minutes. Pros: Very Comfortable, Perfect size for me, Looks Great, Easy to put together if you follow the easy directions. No tools needed (Tool is included), Arm rests Height Perfect, Cons: The Back is only held together by the arm rests, This I find very odd but possibly normal to all chairs. If you rock the chair back and forth you can feel the back flexing (This I believe to be why others have claimed the chair squeaks and makes noise while tilting back). I am going to make a bracket that will attach the back to the bottom of the Seat to keep it secure and sturdy for the long haul. P.S update on the chair after less then 3 months of owning, although the chair is still comfortable but with a major Con. with normal daily use the fake leather on the arm rests has started to crack and peal. I will not be buying this chair again nor recommend to anyone.

Assembly instructions were not included - However, the parts and single allen key tool were neatly packaged, and a quick google search provided a quick video to check the order of assembly. Took all of 10 minutes, and was straightforward. Finished product is gorgeous and comfy. Note that there is no "reclining" function as the back and arms are fixed, but the up down is solid, swivels great, glides smoothly and for the price, it's a great chair.

N'hésitez pas à commander. Elle est ultra confortable. C'est la 2ième que j'achète et je toujours heureuse du confort et de la qualité de matériaux. J'ai maintenant la même chaise au travail et pour mon bureau à la maison. Je passe beaucoup d'heures sur ma chaise du à mon travail. Elle est facile à monter et roule très bien. Honnêtement c'est un excellent achat. Je vous la recommande fortement.

Muy buena por el precio que pagué (3 mil pesos mexicanos), en mi opinion. Mido 168 cm y peso aproximadamente 75 kg, y me parece que encajo muy bien en esta silla. Me sorprendió que la altura minima en esta silla es igual a la altura maxima de mi silla anterior, que es la altura que yo uso, y en mi caso me parece bueno por que no tendré que estarla ajustando por que se baje. Se siente mucho mas acojinada que otras más baratas que había tenido antes y por eso creo que no se volverá incomoda aunque pase horas sentado. Normalmente doy por sentado que el soporte lumbar que viene con una silla sera malo, pero esta es la primera donde si lo siento cómodo a pesar de que viene integrado en el respaldo del sillón como tal.

Everything I hoped this chair would be. Well padded and fairly easy to put together although it is tricky to attach the back to the side arms - it took me a total of 1.25 hours from the time I opened the box. I did change the standard cheap casters with better ones (Slueli) which are smoother and easier on the chair pad.

Excelente sillón. Muy cómodo, mullido y se ve muy robusto, sólo falta probarlo en temporada de calor pero espero que no sea muy caliente. Definitivamente lo recomiendo. Sólo es un poco difícil hacer que se recline hacia atrás, aún aflojando por completo el tornillo del muelle, pero no es realmente importante
