A great what to teach your child about ADHD
When telling my son about his ADHD diagnosis I read him this book after we talked. I also got the stuffed animal character (sold separately) but these two combined really helped my child feel at ease with this new information. The book hit all the points in an easy and helpful way. Highly recommend!

Great for any age
I myself was a late diagnosis and I now have a 5 year old daughter who reflects the same ADHD signs. I struggled with helping her cope when I still don’t know how to cope. This book made me cry and was a great way to share with my spouse how our thought process works. Highly recommend for anyone regardless of age.

My ADHD child and I both loved this story. The dragon reminded her of herself and made the story relatable. Would recommend to anyone with an ADHD child who is struggling to make friends

Awesome Therapy Tool!!!
This book and this series has been an amazing therapeutic tool that I have used with kids of all ages and their parents. This allows for a digestible conversation about psycho education in various areas of concern. The ADHD book allowed me to assist an adolescent in understanding his symptoms and course of treatment. He was so grateful that he could understand what he has. Many children/adolescents are being treated for mental health diagnoses, but they don’t understand what their diagnosis means. Thank you for such an awesome tool to assist with the continued treatment of many. I pray that more diagnosis specific books are coming!!

Fantastic book
I brought this for my 6yr son who was recently diagnosed with adhd. It is a great book and whilst reading it he asked if he had adhd. It was a great way to help explain it to him and he loved the book. We have several of the dragon books now.

Ableist. Offensive. Ignorant.
I bought this to help explain adhd to my son. The story started out beautifully but seems to miss the point that for most people with ADHD if they could choose to behave differently in social situations then they would. If my son could choose to run around outside but not in class, he would. If he could stop and think before he spoke, he would. I’m so sad you got it so wrong in these parts but this is simply not something I will ever read to my child with those pages inside.
