Well, as I spend a fortune on a new iPad - I thought I’d buy a new case for it too. This is by no means the cheapest, and that’s not what I was after. The actual case itself is both sturdy and lightweight (magnets in the flap stand add to weight slightly, but stop the case going flat suddenly!) Really enjoy the finish too, not shiny, but textured in the places you would hold it. Nice protective felt layer inside the lid for when you close it. Open & close also does sleep/wake on iPad too, as a bonus. Not sure if anyone noticed, but it includes a storage spot for the iPencil too! It’s in the correct spot to charge the pencil while stored against the iPad. So, not cheap! But honestly, the fit, finish & thought that’s gone into the case design certainly makes it good value for money in my opinion. Buy it and try it - I’m sure you’ll like it too (Doesn’t come with a screen protector for when iPad is in use - but wasn’t bought with it in mind!)

Very impressed with this case. It fits the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9" perfectly. The top corners of the iPad (the corner where the buttons are and the corner down the long edge from it) have extra protection from rubber inserts inside the case so the iPad is held in securely. There's also a space for a 2nd generation Apple pencil which protects the pencil while also allowing it to charge. Materials and construction of the case seem to be very good. The outside is textured plastic whereas the inside is some sort of brushed fabric to avoid scratching the screen or the back of the iPad. The case feels sturdy and has a very good range of available viewing angles for the stand on the back of the case. The stand is held in place with surprisingly strong magnets so I can't imagine the kick stand will ever slip out of whichever slot you have it set in. Overall this case may be a little on the expensive side but it seems to provide great protection for your very expensive iPad. The case is well made and should last a long time.

Having had a few different cases for this iPad, so this time I thought I would spend a little extra, and to be fair to Zototop, it was well worth it. The case its self has a really rugged feel and fits the iPad really well. The buttons are easy to manipulate. There is a neat slot at the top for the Apple Pencil and the speakers and ports are all easily accessible. Most importantly for me the built-in stand is superb, ie had many of the magnetic tri-fold type cases and these are terrible for non flat surfaces such as a sofa or a bed. The ridges on the back of the case hold the stand firmly at multiple angles on any surface. This is by far the best of the 6 cases I have had so far.

I’ve had my ZtoTop case ever since late 2021 and it has protected my iPad Pro 12.9 inch superbly well. Plus, all the buttons and switches are in perfect alignment as are the charging port and the speaker ports. And my Apple Pencil - and now my Apple Pencil Pro - is fully protected in its purposely designed compartment. To me, it really is perfect. However for the iPad Pro 13 inch my experience has not been so fortunate alas. As you will know the iPad Pro 13 inch is virtually the same in size but not absolutely the same as the iPad Pro 12.9 inch 5th Gen; the 13 inch iPad Pro is 1mm taller and 0.6mm wider which makes practically no difference to the fit and function of the case. However, the 13 inch iPad Pro is 1.3mm thinner and this - possibly combined with the other differences in dimensions - is of considerable significance. Now, unfortunately, the following won’t work every time and with total reliability as they did before with the iPad Pro 12.9 inch: On/Off button, Both volume buttons Front cover - so the screen display remains on until the time you set for the display to switch off (in Settings) has expired. The reduction in thickness of the iPad Pro has caused a slight but significant misalignment of the buttons on the ZtoTop case and the buttons of the iPad Pro. That may be hard to believe but that has been my experience. It is for you to decide whether the absence of the facilities associated with this misalignment is tolerable to you or not. You will have to peel back/off the case at the corner with the buttons, operate the buttons and replace the corner of the case on the iPad ….. and maybe delete the screen shot that you might (certainly, I always seem to) take!!!! I find the consequence of the misalignment irritating and regret to say that I am now looking for another case.

Very solid case and a snug fit for the iPad with room for an Apple Pencil, too. This was third time lucky for me in ordering cases for my new iPad and I am very happy with this one.

Only had this a few days but can already tell it’s goner be perfect. Looks professional,not ostentatious and sturdy, I just know my very expensive piece of tech will be well protected. I love the magnetic grooves which makes for a very stable platform in which to use my iPad . Some might feel expensive but with the price of the iPad Pro 12.9 I feel that it’s well worth the outlay as it gives me the confidence the case will do the job when called upon. 10/10

I like this case, it's a very nice fit for ipad and pencil, seems to have good support on corners for drops should they happen, the cover magnets could be stronger when it's closed but it's acceptable, would likely open easy when dropped though. The stand works very well as far as cases go and I couldn't expect much better from a case, magnets are strong which means its difficult to knock over and stands up well. It's just about worth the cost but should be 5-10 cheaper in my opinion, but it's clear to see I a higher quality case when compared to standard plastic stuff.

Lovely case. Fits my iPad Pro Gen4 2020 perfectly. It is far better than others I have purchased for the same or similar price. I like cases on which the stand folds back and not forward as the magnetic parts appear to work better, but this is very powerful anyway, so probably would have been ok if it had been a forward folding stand. Seems robust, but obviously time will tell as I have only just started using it. Not sure it would fit the new Pro ‘M4’ variant as it is thinner.

Avevo già comprato un case di questa marca per un iPad Mini 6 e, dato il mio gradimento, ho acquistato nuovamente questa marca per un iPad 12,9" e non posso che confermare che è IL MIGLIOR CASE ATTUALMENTE SUL MERCATO PER iPAD (DI QUALUNQUE TIPO). Ecco perchè: - ha un magnete che è una bomba, resistentissimo e reclinabile in molte posizioni, talmente duro e resistente che si può inserire la mano nello spazio creato tra lo stand e l'iPad ed utilizzarlo come fosse una "maniglia", nonostante il peso dell'iPad - i materiali sono ottimi - il design è elegante, pro, "stiloso": nonostante il tipo "rugged" di questa custodia, l'iPad non risulta troppo "ingigantito". In ogni modo meglio una custodia protettiva di questo tipo che altre (veramente orrende o di materiali scadenti). - ha il vano per inserire l'Apple Pencil 2 all'interno del case - PROTEGGE TUTTO l'iPad: fronte, retro, bordi. Vi dico tutto: ha sostituito l'Apple Smart Folio originale (che ho venduto) dato che, nonostante il prezzo, la Smart Folio della Apple copre solo lo schermo e il retro ma non presenta nessuna protezione lungo i bordi e, in più, l'Apple Pencil non era "inglobata" nella custodia ma semplicemente attaccato al lato con il magnete e quindi era visibile esternamente e a rischio che si staccasse. Una follia per il prezzo. Questa CUSTODIA ULTRA-PROTETTIVA della Ztotop HA UN PREZZO EQUO ED E' DAVVERO L'UNICA ALTERNATIVA AD ALTRE MARCHE TIPO ZUGU E LA STESSA APPLE che peccano o di poca protezione (Apple) o di prezzo esagerato e brutto design (Zugu, nelle cui custodie l'Apple Pencil si inserisce in una pochette sul lato posteriore il che fa si che se si appoggia l'iPad su una superficie piana, questo non sarà allineato con il piano di appoggio ma storto perchè la pencil è, appunto, inserita in un "taschino" esterno nella parte posteriore e fa volume...terribile). CUSTODIA CONSIGLIATA AL 100%.

I've had it for a coulple of years now. Sturdy and functional.

Fits like a glove. Very protective. The magnetic stand system is very sturdy. I really like the 6 angles. The pencil holder is good and snug. I don’t find the case too heavy at all. I was expecting it to be heavier from some comments but was pleasantly surprised to find it quite light. Now it’s December 2024. This case is still excellent! It shows no signs of wear and functions as well as it did when I first got it. I use it daily. Highly recommend!
