Daewoo FR-044RCNM Retro Compact Refrigerator 4.4 Cu. Ft. | Mint Green

I’m going to go ahead and give this five stars because I bought this in March 2020. It is now February (mid/late) of 2025 and it’s no longer working. Seems like it was all of a sudden, I’m not sure if my 2 year old left it open all night and it overran the motor (or whatever the component is lol) But it gave me an excellent five years of keeping things cold that I didn’t want to be in the main area. To be fair, I did load that bad boy up with a bunch of stuff, so I didn’t take proper care of it and that’s on me. But I loved it so much. I didn’t care that it said “The Classic” on the front, my kids eventually scraped that off. It only said “Daewoo” inside the door at the top, so not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. It was super cute, I loved it with all my heart. It definitely helped me lose weight because I was able to keep my items separate and private from the rest of the household. It didn’t come dented or dinged up that I know of, and if it did, it was purely cosmetic and had no effect on the ability to do its job. It was also pretty quiet. No loud humming, or anything of that sort. I’m going to miss it but hopefully they re-continue this product. I’m not a fan of change so it’s going to be really difficult adjusting to something new.

I was really scared to order something like this sithchiw I have gotten damaged packages before, but this little mini fridge is BEAUTIFUL and showed up in perfect condition! It works amazingly, has tons of room, and looks just like the photos show. Only thing that’s negative is that about three fines a day it makes a teeny tiny squeak noise. But it’s barely noticeable, not even worthy of mentioning, but besides that it is so quiet I can’t tell it’s on.

I use this fridge in my shop and most everyone that comes in comments on it. Plus it works really well. spacious inside, top compartment is cold enough to freeze a bunch of ice packs fully solid, and the inside is elegant too. stoked on my purchase, great value.

Arrived undamaged. Comes with 1 glass shelf that is packed under the freezer section. Also comes with a plastic tray that according to the instructions should remain out of the fridge for best cooling results and only used when defrosting the freezer. I placed 3 ice cube trays in the cooler box. Stacking one set in top of each other and set the temp to 7 as per the instructions. Left it and returned a week later. The trays making direct contact with the silver freezer box were frozen hard. The tray on top of the frozen one was still water. I would not trust the freezer with frozen food storage. The freezer door is gravity closed and opens bottom to top. I continue to use the packing tape to secure it a little tighter. Overall it's endearing for its looks but I had hoped I could use this as a temporary replacement for a full size refrigerator and due to the limitations of the freezer I think not. The fridge portion appears to be working well. I'm not able to review if it can handle a constant opening of the door during the day and keeping the temp as I normally only use it once a week.

The hubs said I couldn't store my stinky kimchi with his wine anymore, so I bought myself my own fermentation fridge. And this one is perfect! It's so pretty, and just the right size for large mason jars filled with all manner of weird and stinky things. I just love it. Also handy for storing beer.

Fridge arrived with a large dent on the side and two large dents on the back of the unit. Negotiated a discount with amazon due to this. Now we realize the LED light that's supposed to turn on when you open the fridge isn't working at all. This fridge is a mess. Stay away. It's a shame, it looks so pretty

This is the best looking mini fridge on the market. It has way more space than the stainless steel model we had before this. Super easy to keep our collection of beverages cold while still looking good in the back of our kitchen.

No damage from shipping! I was a little freaked out from some reviews but it came home to mama safely! Were planning on using it in our tiny house as our one and only fridge. I’m optimistic- my husband... not so much. But it froze a full ice tray in the cooler box and the shelves actually hold things. I hate those little can holders in some mini fridges. So far it’s beautiful and it fits quite a bit. I’m in love!
