I moved to a new city in Northern California from a different city in Northern California (with a new water source) three years ago and basically overnight developed terrible skin issues. For three years I have tried nearly everything to resolve the dry flaky itchy irritable skin on my legs and face to no avail. I honestly couldn’t believe how terrible my skin felt, always tight, itchy, ingrown hairs when I shaved my legs. Acne on my face. I felt like my skin stopped allowing my hair to grow through and basically became like a closed capsule over my body. Every follicle basically became an inflamed issue. Sorry to go into so much detail, but I was being driven mad by this change in my skin and searched for years for a fix- with different moisturizers, salicylic acid , ahas, body oils, you name it I tried it. I had basically given up hope and couldn’t figure out what happened to my skin. Then I stumbled upon a post online that mentioned how hard water can affect sensitive skin and that some people with skin issues might benefit from a water filter on their shower. So I figured what the hell. I had had a pimple here out there before. But this new situation left my body covered in boils and ingrown hairs and I was desperate for a solution. I bought this filter despite some negative reviews because I liked the price point. I’ve been using it for a week, and the install was not difficult. At first it leaked water, but I took it off and added more plumbers tape and it worked fine. No more leaks, water pressure is fine. When I tell you that instantly in my first shower I knew something was different. My shampoo soaped different, I barely need any compared to before to create a lather. My hair is so shiny and soft now. And after a few days, my skin started peeling and appears to be recovering from whatever was affecting me before. I felt like I molted my weird dry skin and my face is healing. I am no longer itchy, and I am not feeling like I have to slather myself in lotion. Long story short. If you are on your last hope and searching for something to try to help with your skin issues- it’s been life changing for me. I did go online and look at the water report for my city to make sure this filter took out the worst offenders in my water. I would highly recommend looking at your water report before deciding which filter to buy- just to make sure it will have the positive affect you desire. I highly recommend this filter and would honestly buy it again and again because my results are incredible.

This heavy-duty filter is amazing for combating hard water and chlorine. My skin is softer, my hair is healthier, and I can tell the difference in water quality immediately. Installation was a simple no-tool process, and it works with handheld showers too. Highly recommend this effective and durable filter!

I’ve had this filter installed for about a month with a rain shower head, and so far I’m really happy with it. Installation was quick and easy — I did it myself in just a few minutes. The filter looks great and feels sturdy, and switching to it didn’t cause any drop in water pressure at all (my last shower head installation did, so this was a big relief). Functionality-wise, it’s been solid. I immediately noticed I’m not getting the usual hard water marks on my shower glass anymore, which makes cleaning so much easier. My main reason for buying it was to help with dandruff and scalp buildup from hard water. I still have some issues there, but it’s only been a month, so I’m hoping to see more results with continued use. Overall, very happy with this purchase — easy to install, works well, and no pressure loss. Great value for the money! Nearly the best rated water filter on the market for an exceptionally great price!! I forgot to mention that it came packaged very nicely and had everything you need for the install. I was very impressed with how it was packaged in the boxes and the extra o-ring filters, lots of plumbers tape, the wrench was very basic so I used my own but definitely could have used everything it came with.

Love this thing. Makes such a difference. I live in the L.A. suburbs and the water is awful. Gives you dry itchy skin and crunchy hair. I mean the municipal water sources should be ashamed of themselves. Who knows what's in this water. In any case, after doing some research regarding hair porosity I found info suggesting hard water might be the cause of product not being effective on your curls and a recommendation on this brands filter because it fits in the shower. I live in an apartment so getting a whole system is out of the question. Given the price I had no problem buying. After a few weeks I can feel a huge difference in the texture of my skin. No more itching and breakouts. My hair feels softer and the curls are starting to clump together better as mineral buildup clarifies out. Even my eyes are not dry and red after I get out of the shower because of water irritation. Also, another unexpected surprise was my freddie calathea plant loves the filtered water! I did everything I could think of to care for it because every time I watered with distilled water leaves turned yellow and died. But now she's much happier and no more yellow leaves. The packaging looks quality, not flimsy. And the product has a good weight and polished chrome finish so it will look nice in the bathroom. The install was super easy. Just a few gaskets and twists and I was done in a minute or two. Everything comes in the box, with two extra filter pads and directions are pretty straightforward. The only little gripe I have is that the seal in the middle of body is not as good. I noticed it dripping. So I tried to open it up to take a look and make sure the seal was in place and in good condition. Everything looked fine, but there is still a minor drip. Not a big deal to me though the thing is still great and replacement filters are not expensive. Overall I would recommend it and I'm happy with my purchase.

So easy to install ! I could tell the difference on my skin and hair ! I had a different model but when I ordered the filter for the AquaBliss I ordered wrong filter the upgraded version has a slight larger filter , so I decided to order the case that fit the larger filter . I’m glad I did I liked the other one also but I liked the fact this filter goes either way . The other one had only one way …. I gave this one a 5 star because I feel that it was much easier to install filters 💖💞

Easy installation and the water immediately feels softer and nicer on my skin and hair BUT the filter doesn’t last 2 months (I live alone so its not from overuse) and the plastic casing is cheap and leaks….

Tested now for a month, this filter is fabulous! My skin and scalp isn't dry after showering and hair is softer. I can definitely tell a difference in the water. Thanks for an excellent product.

Water filter works well. Hard water softens. However, device has design flaws in my opinion. The surface is too slick making replacing filter difficult and problematic. Screwing the device back together is not precise because you can't get a good grip on the thing. The end result being that the O-ring pops out due to water pressure as mentioned in many of the other reviews. I think it would be better if shell had a non-slip design or texture. I wish the input connection spout was of the same length as the output spout (more threading on input side). The input spout should have texture or a wrench fitting shape (square-ish) instead of a round shape. Update: finally able to take filter shell apart and put everything back together again properly but the O-ring failed again and water squirted out of the middle. Took the shell apart and noticed that the O-ring is damaged which is why it fails and water squirt out of the middle of the filter. I believe the O-ring was damaged when I was replacing the filter after the 6 month lifespan. Production should come with a spare O-ring. Product is really hard to take apart and put back together when replacing filter. By the way, I used two rubbery silicon potter holder to get a proper grip on the thing to take it apart. If you can take it apart & put it back together without pinching the O-ring, the device should work with no problems. Once the O-ring is damaged the device will fail again even if you put it together properly.

The shower filter works really well and I can no longer smell the chlorine in the water.

Easy way to install. Hope it will stay 6 months. Just wondering if we don’t change the filter by 3 months, any side effect that might harm to our skin and hair.

Felt the difference immediately, i have a filter Shower head also Not from Aquabliss, but from a local brand, its not great but does the job. BUT the Aquabliss is incredible, now i can relax and take a shower, My hair has a new shine and is growing in thick. Been using for 2 months.
