Try putting the seals under hot water for a couple of seconds. The seals will expand enough to close them.

Can i put these on the bottom rack of my dishwasher?

I would like to add an unofficial thought. Older dishwashers got much hotter on the bottom rack. I ruined a few things on the bottom rack. The newer, more energy efficient appliances don't generate as much heat. I never worry about what I put on the bottom rack. Apply these thoughts to your current dishwasher.
